We celebrate Christmas every year on December
25 as the birth date of Jesus. Because, Jesus
was born to atone for our sins. He died so that we may become ‘the Children of
God by believing Him (John 1;12). He died but rouse again and is alive today
and for eternity. All believers who received Him will have eternal life (John
3:16). In His death and resurrection, all believers become the family members
of God and will live eternally with God.
This is why, we Christians should celebrate
Christmas, to thank God for His saving grace as the Bible tells us, “‘Shout and
be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,’
declares the LORD.”( Zechariah 2:10)
Further, the angel that announced the birth to
the shepherds brought “good news of great joy that will be for all the people”
(Luke 2:10).
Therefore, celebrate Christmas for the glory of God.
God bless you.
