Christmas is coming. Let us celebrate the coming of our ‘Saviour’.
Let us share the story of Christmas - the wonder of angels
singing, and the majesty of three kings visiting the Christ child in a manger.
Mary “ …gave birth to her first-born son.(Luke 2:7).
“For unto us a Child is born, unto
us a Son is given. But
this prophet of God didn't stop there! ...and the government shall be upon His
shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God,
the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
Sing Christmas songs praising God. Exchange gifts, if you can,
as the three Wiseman offered gift to the Baby Jesus. And more important is, the greatest gift God
has given to us (Acts 2:38; 8:20; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8). This greatest gift of God for us is Jesus, the
Savior, who made believers “new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). As such, we can
celebrate Christmas though there may be disturbances (Romans 8:28)
Therefore, let us sing carols and hymns even though godless
souls scheme against us (2 Chronicles 20:22) and love God and people, freely
forgiving those who hate us (Luke 23:34).
God bless you.
