“Praise be
to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given
us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from
the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This
inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s
power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the
last time.” (1 Peter 1:3-5).
Jesus said, “I am the
resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even
though they die; and
whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe
this?” (John 11:25-26)
Jesus is Risen from the dead! The grave couldn’t keep Him. Death
couldn’t hold Him. The devil couldn’t defeat Him. The Pharisees couldn’t
silence Him. Sin couldn’t conquer Him. He is the living God, the everlasting
Savior, and the Risen King.
