Don’t rely on man for your well-being, as the Bible says, “Stop regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he?” (Isaiah 2:22).
As long as you depend on man, you will fail. Because, man is only the creature of God. God gives man only limited capacity. So, study the word of God in the Bible and follow the instructions in the Bible. Don’t rely on human’s knowledge either.
Instead, “Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation” (Psalm 146:3).
The Bible even says, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength” (Jeremiah 17:5).
Even great nations fall, according to the Bible, by relying on man’s strength and knowledge by not paying heeds to the instructions of God in the Bible, which says,
“Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales. . . . All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness” (Isaiah 40:15, 17).
God is our Creator and giver of life, knowledge and everything we need. He blesses all who have faith in Him and have a commitment to follow Him. God is our protector and security. God loves us and wants us to love Him. We love Him when we obey His commands that His glory may be seen by others and glorify Him.
The only way to please God is to love Him as He loves us. If we love Him, we must obey Him (John 15:10). We obey Him when we believe in Him and receive His only Son, Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. The Bible confirm this by saying,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
What a wonderful love God has given us! God will make His children all who believe in His Son Jesus Christ (John 1:12) and give ‘eternal life’. (John 3:16)
So, love God by receiving Jesus Christ for your personal Lord and Saviour.
