Jesus is Believer's Advocate

We often commit mistake in everyday life. Sometimes, you may commit such blunder that you have to face the wrath of man and God. Every wrong is sin. God will judge every men and women. The final judgment will be after dead. But, this day, God often judge instantly by punishing the wrongdoer. God may also employ any person on earth to pass the judgment and carry out physical punishment. But……………….
If you are believer of Jesus Christ, do not worry. Approach Him in silent prayer. The Bible says,

“My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2:1 NIV)

Advocate is an expert in law. He pleads in favour of his client (accuse)in a court.
Jesus Christ is the Advocate for all believers. He is the Son of the Father, the Judge. Not only that He died for us. He died  and paid the price for believer’s sin that all who believed in Him may not be condemned but have eternal life (John 3:16-17)
Jesus Christ pleads for believers, when Satanalways accuses us (We’ll talk about this ‘Accuser’ separately).
Jesus Christ is our great Defender. He intercedes for us, as the scripture says,
“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them” (Hebrews 7:25).
Jesus Christ is not only Advocate but the High Priest. The  Priest performs any necessary rites to please God.
Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. “(Hebrews 7:25).
Now, is Jesus Christ your Advocate? Are you believer? Have you received Jesus Christ for your Lord and Saviour?
If not, receive Him today. Call Him in prayer. Confess your sin in a secret prayer that you are a sinful man. Ask Him to forgive your sin. Invite Him to rule your heart, control and direct your life as your Lord and Saviour. Then, Jesus Christ will enter and become your Lord and Saviour, Advocate, High Priest and King of King. God will bless you abundantly with spiritual blessings.
When God forgive you, He let other people forgive you too!
When God forgive, He forget your sin!
God bless you.
