When we committed our life to Jesus,
He has fully committed Himself to us. He promises: "I will never leave you
nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).
Recognition is necessary. You must
know the presence of Jesus with you all the time and in every situation. Jesus
will help you grow spiritually, step be step. Your prayer will become more and
more meaningful. You will find small changes in your life. He will give you new
Christian friend. You will gain new interest, new habit, replacing the old way
of life. Your understanding of the Bible
will grow as you read prayerfully..
Be careful the temptation of the
devil, or Satan, who is always working against you. His tactic for the new
believer is to pull you back. He will give you doubt and say: “You are fool.
God will never forgive you. You will only get into trouble. You will lose your
happiness, all your friends and your income" He will instill doubts
and fears in your mind.
In such temptations, oppose him with
words like these: "I am a child of God, redeemed from my old life by the
Lord Jesus."
Then pray for Jesus to help you.
"Lord, help me through this battle."
Remember:’He who has begun a good work
in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)
May Jesus be with you always
