Love is often difficult to understand. True love is more so. Even boys
and girls do not understand the love of his/ her lover at first. But real love
hardly fail and true love always win the heart.
Jesus, the Son of God, tells us
to love others. If we love them, we must help them. But we have limited
capacity. The best way to help is to bring them to God so that they may receive
the unlimited blessings from God. Therefore, Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and
lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
A disciple
is a follower. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ, who accepted Jesus
Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is our duty to spread the good news of Jesus Christ
and make disciples in our capacity. To do this, we must get training first. We must
grow in faith and equipped by the Holy Spirit to become ore and more Christ
like.
Therefore,
let’s train ourselves to be able to make disciple. Let us study the Bible daily
and pray continually. Let us always ask God in prayer to give us the Holy
Spirit to help us live a Christ-like life and help us spread the Good News of
Jesus Christ.
The
best training is to do ourselves practically. So, share the words of the Bible
with your friends and pray for them. By doing so, you will grow in faith and
have practical experience. God will surely bless us if we regularly do in this
way faithfully with continuous earnest prayer.
Remember,
your non-believer friends may not understand your love when you first tell
about the message of God’s love in Jesus Christ. But they will surely
understand one day. When they understand, they will bless you and remember you
till they die. This is the story of Christianity through the ages. Our fathers
and grand fathers were so.
