When you received Jesus in your life
you have New Life in Christ. But even then, you will have time to be doubtful
of your new life or salvation. Temptation will make you to doubt and frustrate
sometimes. You may feel weak and all alone. In such situation, remind of
yourself the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ that He is always with you. He knows
our weakness and need help. He, therefore, promise to send the Holy Spirit to
help, guide and comfort us.(John 14:16).
Remember,
you are never alone. Jesus is with you always in the Holy Spirit. “And I
am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the
day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6).
He
will meet your every need and will take care of you daily. “Keep
your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have; for he
has said, "I will never fail you nor forsake you.". Hence we can
confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can
man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:5-6).
Read
the Bible daily and always pray. Pray
that God will send the Holy Spirit to be always your Helper, Counselor, comforter
and teacher. Ask God to help you understand His words in the Bible and His will
for you.
“When
the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will
not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he
will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13).
Therefore, start living life with Christ, knowing the Holy
Spirit is with you always. God has forgiven your sin and salvation. He will
give you victory over temptation and His presence in you always.
Trust in the Lord and His promises. Surrender your life in
His hand and ask to direct and control your life. Completely rely on Him and live
in absolute dependence on Him.
