We want to do something great. Want to get rich. We want
to earn enormous income and name. We are
so busy that we do not have time to ask God if it is His will or not. We do not remember
that God has a good plan for us.
1.God has a good plan for us. Not only good, but the best plan for us. He wants us
to follow His plan for us as He knows the best for us. He says,
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the
Lord. "They are plans for good...to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah
29:11).
God is our Creator. He created us in His image (Genesis
1:27) He wants us to be like Him even after we sin against Him. He has a good
plan for us. He loves us and His plan for us must not be against our interest
and against our pleasure.
2. It is the best for us to first ask Him in prayer what
is His plan for us. We must seek His help and guidance. He will surely give us
what we want and need if not against His will. He knows what is good for us. We
have limited knowledge. We do not understand what the best is for us. What we
think good and pleasing for us in the present time may become bad in the long
run. God is all-knowing. He knows the best for us for the long run and even for
eternity.
3. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ tell us,
“But first strive
for the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be
given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
You know, Jesus Christ is the embodiment of ‘the Kingdom
