Jesus Changes Water Into Wine

“On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”

“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.” (John 2:1-12 NIV)

Jesus really was very obedient. How He respected His mother can be seen here. It was not the duty of Mary or Jesus as invited guest to interfere in matter related to the management of the fest. But, God was working in the deep heart of Mary that she felt the need to extend help. She also knew that Her son was not just ordinary child. She knew Jesus was not her natural son but was ‘the Son of God’. She knew Jesus can provide the host.
We also can understand that this ‘Jesus turning Water Into Wine’ must not be His first miracle. He must have already performed miracles at home, which Mary knew. If not, how can Mary is so sure that Jesus can do ‘miracle’ by telling servants, , “Do whatever he tells you.” ?
Whatever it is, this is not what I want to say here.

Jesus mother, Mary knew that her son Jesus have power to do miracles. She must knew that miracles could be done only with the power of God. This means, Mary fully trust in Jesus as the Son of God.
Then, do you believe Jesus to be the Son of God? Do you believe His dead on the cross was to redeem you from the power of sin? Do you believe God will forgive all your sin because Jesus died in your place?
Do you believe Jesus can cleanse you of your sin when He could perform miracles?
