When you heard the message of
salvation in Christ and believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit starts working
in you. The Bible says:
"In Him, you also, after
listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also
believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given
as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own
possession, to the praise of His glory." Ephesians 1:13-14
The Spirit gives believers a new
life as Jesus says, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits
nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.”( John
6:63)
“Born again” means the ‘new nature’ the
Holy Spirit has given you when you received Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord of
your life.
This is what Apostle Paul says, “I
have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ
lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the
Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”( Galatians 2:20)
If you have received Jesus, know
that the Holy Spirit is now living inside of you. You only need to learn how to
relate with Him and walk in the new life He has for you.
