Be Sure of Your Salvation in Christ

Many Christians are not sure of their salvation. They are doubtful even after they ask God to forgive their sin and asking Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Saviour. You may also be doubtful of your salvation. Believe in God and His words in the Bible. The Bible is the written word of God.

According to the Bible, you become God’s child when you believe God and received His Son Jesus Christ,  "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13)
If you believe in God and Jesus Christ, you must also believe the word of god in the Bible and live in peace that you are ‘saved’ and have ‘eternal life’ in Christ. You will live eternally with God as His child as God is eternal God.

When the Bible says that anyone who believe in Jesus will be saved, why should you have any doubt. God is faithful in His word. The Bible also says -
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
You have become 'Saved' or ‘born again’ when you believed in God and received Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. In other word, you are accepting Jesus Christ as your saviour when you sincerely ask Him in prayer to be your Lord and Savior and to forgive your sins. You become a child of God. God has forgiven your sins and given you the gift of eternal life in heaven.
Do not think you become ‘saved’ because you have done some good thing or live a good life. You are 'saved' not because you go to church. You are ‘saved’ only because you believe (have faith) in the only true God; have received His Son, Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour and have asked forgiveness for your sins.
This salvation is the free gift of God through your faith in Jesus Christ. God loves you and wants you to be His child now and forever. The Bible also says,
"This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3)
So, thank God every day for His wonderful gift of new life in Jesus Christ. To grow in faith, study the Bible everyday and always pray.
If you have not yet received salvation through Jesus Christ, call on Jesus now. Invite Him to become your Lord and Saviour.

God bless you.
