Jesus
came to the world and lived among man as man. He taught people about ‘The
Kingdom of God’ and how to get in there. He taught that the only way to get
into the Kingdom of God is to believe the only True God, His father in heaven
and received His Son, Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour.
Jesus
died for our sins on the cross so that we may have ‘eternal life in God’. He rose
again on the third day and He sits at the right hand of God, the Father in
heaven.
God
gave Jesus Christ, all the authorities in heaven and on earth and commands us
to tell all people about all these
(Matthew 28:18-20) In His authority, Jesus Christ give all His followers
the right to become ‘the children of God’(John 1:12).
In
His resurrection, Jesus Christ “has become the first-fruits of those who have
fallen asleep” In 1 Corinthians 15 : 20). His resurrection is an assurance for
all His followers that God will raise all believers on the last day.
Jesus
Christ is coming again! The dead in Christ will be raised up, and those who
remain and are alive at His coming will be changed and receive new, glorified
bodies (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
Believers
will be raised to meet Christ in His second coming (Rapture) to bring all
believers to Him in heaven. On that day, we, believers will all sing a song of victory
over death and sin :
“Where,
O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” (1 Corinthians
15:55).
