There is nothing we can do to be saved from the punishment
of sin and enter in heaven. The only way we can be saved and become the
children of God is by having faith in Jesus Christ and received Him for our personal
Lord and Savior.
The Bible says " Clearly no one who
relies on the law is justified before God, because “the
righteous will live by faith.”(Galatians
3:11)
So our faith is the only thing that saves us. Our faith is
the only thing that grants us anything at all. The Bible also says,
“For God so loved the
world that he gave his
one and only Son, that
whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
“Believe in
the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved —you
and your household.” (Acts 16:31)
“For
it is by grace you
have been saved, through
faith —and this is not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not
by works, so
that no one can boast”(Ephesians 2:8-9).
When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are
a new creation with the righteousness of Christ all over you and the Holy
Spirit deep within you . The Bible says, “I have been crucified
with Christ and
I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The
life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave himself for
me.” (Galatians 2:20)
“And you also were
included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your
salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy
Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s
possession—to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:13-14)
Hope
