REJOICE IN TEMPTATION

One verse of the Bible I had struggled to understand with much difficulty was James 1: 2, which is read Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials,” (James 1:2)
God make me understand this now and tell you here :

It is say ‘all persons face temptation’. In fact, not every body is tempted. Only good or not bad persons are tempted to do wrong.
The thief need not be tempted to steal, stealing is his regular work. The drunkard does not need any temptation to drink wine. Wine is his everyday drink.
Only one who never steal is tempted to steal and one who never drink wine is tempted to drink wine.
If you face temptation, it is the proof that you are good person or at least not so bad person. Satan envy your good character and wants you to act against the will of God.

If you are tempted, it is a proof that you still are not of Satan. He, therefore, is trying to make you his child as you still do not belong to him. If you are not of Satan, you are of God.
This is the reason to “Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials,” (James 1:2)

Rejoice, Satan jealous you being God’s child, which he could never become.
Rejoice in the Lord. Praise God Almighty. Thank Jesus, your Saviour.

To thank God in prayer whenever you face temptation.

Remember, temptation is not sin. Even our Lord Jesus Christ was tempted ( Hebrew 4:15)
Also remember, it is ‘sin’ to give in to the temptation.

Therefore, be alert. You may be tempted to do wrong, to do against your own interest, to do wrong, to act against your conscience and against the will of God.
You may be tempted to think that you are the only one who is tempted.
Remember, all believers of Jesus Christ go through temptations.            However, God help believers of Jesus Christ. He promises us that
“ No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (I Corinthians 10:13).

Remember, Satan tempted believers to break their relationship with God.
Also remember, we have no strength to overcome Satan’s temptation. Only Jesus Christ has the power to defeat Satan.
This makes it clear, we always need the help you Jesus Christ to overcome temptation. Jesus promises believers to give the Holy Spirit to help us.
So, read the Bible daily and always pray. Ask  Jesus to be always with you and help you overcome every temptation and help you live a godly life.

God bless you.
