Salvation is a Gift Not Force

A gift is not forced, you can be refused. Salvation in Jesus Christ is a gift from God.
The Bible say, “ let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life..”( Revelation 22:17NIV)
No one will force or compel you to accept it. It is up to you to accept or reject it.
If you receive you will become God’s child (John 1:12) and will have eternal life (John 3:16-17).
If you reject, you are condemned (John 3:18) and will go to hell after this life.

Every true Christians must preach the Gospel (Salvation in Christ) as  it is the command of our Lord Jesus Christ,   “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18-20)
Jesus Christ may be with every true believer. But He is surely with the preachers of the Gospel, as find in Matthew 28:20 “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
This means, our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to do work and not just to be contented with the ‘Gift of Salvation’. He promised to be surely with us when we preach the Gospel.
Many persons can not understand the value of God’s gift of Salvation in Christ. To those who receive, God also give the ‘gift of the Spirit’.  Many persons even do not recognize Jesus Christ Himself when He appeared to them, like Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:10-42).

Jesus met Samaritan woman at the well. The woman did not know who He was. Jesus told her , “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water” (John 4:10).
When Jesus revealed that He was the Messiah (Christ), she left her jar and went to the town. She told about the Christ to them. Then many people of the town came to Jesus and believed in Him. (John 4:10-42).
Samaritan woman at the well became a successful witness of Christ when our Lord met her.  I envy her very much and hope my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ will surely help me like Samaritan woman at the well, to be His successful witness, at least once, though I am unworthy.

May God also help you and bless you.
