God assures us that if we believe in
Jesus Christ and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, He will give us eternal
life.
“ I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of
God so that you may know that you have eternal life. .” (1
John 5:13)
God promises to never leave us.
God has forgiven all of our sins,
past, present, and future.
“When you
were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave
us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and
condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. ” (Colossians
2:13-14)
God has given you His Spirit (the
Holy Spirit) to enable you to live in a way that pleases Him.
