Many Christian think that witnessing Jesus
Christ involves risk. I find it is rather
pleasing and many times I get constant blessing being a Christian.
I used to pray when I take my seats in
Train, Bus, and other public vehicles. Other passengers feel comfort to be with
me and even offer me their eatables to eat, newspapers to read, comfortable seats.
Even when there was ethnic violence in this area, the localities where I travel
with took care of me so much that they constantly talked with me when some
doubtful persons entered, thus saving me of disturbances.
Once, while I came from Guwahati city,
there was no Christian. One couple with a little son were with me. The parents
never allowed their son to accept any eatable offered by other passengers. The
boy, therefore, also denied when I offered him a banana. But his parents told
him, “Babu, take it what uncle give you” and the little boy accepted my offer gratefully.
Then, the parents started non-stop conversation with me. The father said, “They
love us very much and have a good relationship with us. This boy also plays
with their boy. We trust Christians as they fear God and love everybody.”
All such could happen as they saw me
pray when the train start,
Friends, every Christian is called to be a
witness of Jesus Christ. Jesus commands not only His eleven disciples, but all
believers, in Matthew 28:18- 29 "go and make disciples of all
nations".
All Christian
can not become Pastor, Evangelist, Preacher, Missionary ordain worker. But, all
of us can spread the Good News about salvation through Jesus Christ. You can
tell your friends, co-workers, neighbours about the love of God reveals in
Jesus Christ. You can send Bible verses to others through SMS, facebook, emailsLive
a life that is different from
non-believers and always pray for your friends, neighbours, co-workers and
others that they may become the dear children of God by believing in Jesus
Christ.
Pray when you
take meal, tea and others also in hotels. Pray when you take seat in School,
college, offices, train, Bus, etc. This practice also give us constant result –
all who travels with you will know you as a good, God fear person and never
disturb you but love and care you. Besides, this is the easiest way to be
Christ’s witness. Be blessed as you witness our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
