" If you
remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be
done for you.." (John 15:7)
We are commanded to pray, God promise us
to answer “‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”(Jeremiah 33:3).
To get answers to prayer - we are to remain
in Him, to remain in His perfect will at all cost.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters,
in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to
God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able
to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1, 2).
Secondly, His words are to remain in us;
they are to become a vital part of our life. We are to be filled with, and
guided by, His words
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one
another with all wisdom through
psalms, hymns, and songs from the
Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of
the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the
Father through him.” (Colossians
3:16, 17).
If we remain in Him, we will
continuously receive His blessing and remain happy. But we are weak and have no
strength to remain in the Lord. We can not obey Him properly in our strength.
We need His help. So, we must study His words in the Bible and always pray for
help.
Let’s pray,” Lord, help me to remain
in You as I have no strength to remain in You. Let the Holy Spirit, help me to remain
in and obey You, in Jesus name, Amen.”
May our Lord grant your prayer and blessed you.
