“Paul,
a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and
set apart for
the gospel of God” (Romans 1:1)
Don’t
left out this verse just a ‘Greetings’. This
is Paul’s public confession. Paul is very sure of his salvation through Jesus
Christ. Not only that, he is so sure that Christ has chosen him and set apart
for His witness, to preach the Gospel of God. Paul sets example to be followed
by all believers.
Every
true Christian, all who becomes Jesus follower must dare to believe, accept and
claim that Jesus Christ has called him to be His witness. He must take the
responsibility.
Jesus
Christ, after resurrection commanded His Disciples to go and preach the Gospel
to every nation of the world (Matthew 28:18-20).
Before
He died, Jesus prayed to His Father ‘not only for His twelve disciples but also
for those who would believe from the preaching of His Disciples’(John 17) So, His
command to preach the Gospel is the responsibility of all who believers.
You
must be sure of your salvation. You must take the responsibility of Christ’s
follower if you are sure of your salvation through Jesus Christ.
May
God give you the courage to claim and take the responsibility to witness the
risen Lord, Jesus Christ.
May
God bless you.
