“God
is Love” (1 John 4:8) He wants us to live a happy life.
God
never demand anything from us. He never wants us to give Him any offering and sacrifice.
He
only wants us to give our heart, that is, believe in Him, understand His love
for us and follow His instructions so that we may continually have fellowship
with Him and enjoy His blessings.
He
also wants us to love each other and have love relationship among us.
We
have fellowship, Christian Society, the Church. To run this fellowship, we need
workers. Workers need to be help with our contribution and offerings. We have
to run and function this society. We also have to help the needy, to show love
and compassion. As such, we have to contribute for fund, give and offer gifts.
God has nothing to do with our gift, donation, contribution and offerings.
God
is the Creator of every created thing. Everything is His own and all are in His
disposal. What is your contribution and gift for Him?
But,
we have to love and help each other. And, if you enjoy God’s love and
blessings, you have to love and help others as God do to you.
Jesus says, “My command
is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”(John 15:12)
If
you still can not love and help others and even can not have heart to contribute in fellowship in the
name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, you may not grow spiritually. Your good
works will become a source of receiving the blessings of God. The more you bear
fruit, the more you will receive from God.
Jesus says, “I am the
vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear
much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John
15:5)
God
bless you to bear fruit more and more.
