With rest of the
Christian world, We started observing the ‘Passion
Week’ from last Sunday, beginning with the triumphal entry of Jesus in
Jerusalem riding on the back of a colt (on Palm Sunday) and will be up to Easter
Sunday.
Theologians says that ‘Passion
Week’ is being named to mark the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ that He willingly
suffered and died on the cross for our sins.
It is because of the ‘Passion
of Jesus Christ’, we are saved from sin and its consequences, eternal
condemnation. Jesus paid our sin and given us a ‘New Life’.
Let us always thank God and
follow Jesus faithfully. Let us, be passionate like Jesus in every way in
living this New Life. Let us share His message of Love to our friends and
others passionately.
