God is
just. In His justice, God must reward the righteous and punished the sinner.
All human
being are sinner , God must punish all with eternal condemnation.
However,
God is Love, too. He loves and wants to save all human beings.
Therefore,
God made a good plan that He maintain justice but save human being , too out of
love.
The
result was, He sent His Son Jesus in the world to die on our behalf and save
us. Read how the Bible says,
“ For God
so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but
have eternal life.
For God did
not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever
believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe
stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s
one and only Son.” (John 3:16-18)
Jesus
knew everything including His death approaching and who would betray Him.
“Jesus
replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.” (John 12:23)
Jesus
could pray to God to protect Him. But He did not. He, rather willingly accept
the punishment for our sin. He offer His
life and died for us so that the requirement of God may be fulfilled that Jesus
must die to save us. Jesus called His coming death on the cross ‘glorified’!
Because,
He loves you and me. He knew if He die, we will have eternal life.
Now,
Jesus had died and all who believes in Him have life.
Hope you
believe Him and have ‘eternal life’. If not, you are already condemned and will
face eternal death.
Now, you
still have earthly life and have chance to believe.
Call on
Jesus in prayer and receive Him for your Lord and Saviour.
If you
have already believe and received Him, thank God everyday. Read the Bible daily
and pray continually. And,
Celebrate
Good Friday to glorify Him.
