One can have ‘Salvation’
only through faith in Jesus Christ.
According to the Bible ,
We have all committed sin against God (Romans
3:23) and we all deserved punishment. The
consequences of sin is death (Rome 6:23) We can do nothing to be saved from
condemnation.
But God is love (1John
4:8) He loves us that He made a plan to save us from eternal death.
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his
one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life.” (John 3:16).
Jesus came and lived a sinless
life. He taught the truth about ‘salvation’ and the Kingdom of God. But, He was
rejected by men and put Him to death by crucifying Him. He took our sin on
Himself, and He died in our place (2 Corinthians 5:21). However, the
power of sin and death could not hold Him. He overcome sin and death and was
risen (1 Corinthians 15) He has paid for
our sin.
Therefore, we can have Salvation
by faith (Ephesians 2:8), by
receiving Jesus as Savior (John 1:12),
and by fully trusting Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
