Jesus died to give all eternal life

Death is man’s legacy; life is God’s. The Lord Jesus Christ said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die" (John 11:25-26).
Good Friday, when we remember the cruel death of Jesus Christ on the cross, is a day that man made because of sin. But Resurrection Sunday is God’s Day. He made it. Only the power of God could have raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Man’s deepest yearnings for life, power, and hope find fulfillment in the meaning of Easter.
Resurrection speaks of life. Jesus Christ is alive today! Here in the northern hemisphere, Resurrection Sunday comes in the spring. After a long, cold winter, nature comes alive. In the spring, one is prompted to think of resurrection. It’s a new beginning.
Death is our enemy. But life is ours in Jesus Christ. Death brings fear. The Resurrection gives peace. Thoughts about death often lead to depression. The reality of the Resurrection leads to hope. Death speaks of separation, but the Resurrection speaks of a life that is indestructible, in union forever with the risen Jesus Christ.
The Bible says, "When you were dead in your sins...God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins" (Colossians 2:13). We are alive to God because the risen life of Christ is our life. All of us who have Jesus Christ in our hearts know that He’s alive. That’s why we love to sing, "You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart." The Lord affirmed, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). That speaks of His life in us!
When Jesus came out of the grave, having finished the work on the cross, having shed His blood, having taken the punishment for our sins on His own body, He was able to give us life, because He was alive, risen from the dead.
Do you have this life? Have you experienced what it is to come alive in Jesus Christ? Have you experienced what the Bible calls a "new birth"?
To be born again means that Jesus Christ actually comes into your life. Instead of being dead to God, dead to the things of God, not understanding what God is like, you come alive. You become a new person who can understand the things of God.
The Resurrection speaks of life; not only the life of Christ, alive from the tomb, but also an abundant inner life for us, here and now, daily.
Jesus Christ also opened a way into heaven. We no longer have to fear death, because we are united with Christ. A Christian has been resurrected with Jesus Christ. Christ’s victory is our victory both now and in the future. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ destroyed him "who holds the power of death-that is, the devil" (Hebrews 2:14).
Resurrection also speaks of power. Before the Lord was raised from the dead, the apostles were quite a miserable lot. What was wrong? What was it that they lacked? They lacked power!
Until the Lord Jesus was resurrected, was raised up into heaven and the Holy Spirit came down on the Day of Pentecost, the apostles were still afraid and in hiding.
But on the Day of Pentecost, Peter, who had earlier been afraid of the accusations of a servant girl, stood up in front of several thousand people and said, very boldly, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38). What brought on this boldness?
Peter now was filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit! He had the risen life of Jesus Christ in him. The power that brought Christ out of the grave is for us now. God’s power is not something that we work up ourselves. It comes only from the indwelling Holy Spirit.
If you lack power in your life, power to overcome temptation, power to witness for Jesus Christ, then you need to allow God’s Spirit to fill you. You need to acknowledge His life in you and let Him live through you.
The life of Christ dwells in every one who by faith receives Him. Your life can be filled with the power of the living Lord Jesus Christ. "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, and love and of self-discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7).
For those who know the Lord Jesus, that fact is very real. The Lord is coming back! The Bible says that one of these days, we shall be changed "in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:52). What a marvelous reality!
This is the hope that the Resurrection gives you. We know we shall see the Lord Jesus face to face in all His glory. Do you have that hope? Do you have that assurance? Do you know for sure that you’ll see Him?
If the resurrected Christ does not live in your heart and you die today, what hope would you have? There is no "reincarnation," no "second chance." But if Christ lives in you, then there is the secure hope of eternal life with the Lord Jesus, forever. "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish," He has said (John 10:28).
If the Lord Jesus returned today, would He welcome you into His presence? Have you opened your life to Jesus Christ?
You can receive the Lord Jesus by a simple prayer of faith. Believe in Him, invite Him into your heart, and become a child of God. Make sure that you will be part of that resurrection day when the Lord Jesus comes back for His own.
Make this prayer your own, quietly now, as you finish this article:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You that because of Easter, You’ve made it possible for me to have a new beginning. Thank You for Your death on the cross, paying the penalty for my sins. Thank You for Your resurrection three days later. You’re alive and now You offer me new life, power and hope here and now and for all eternity. Please forgive my sins and make me part of Your family. I gladly receive You and put my trust in You. Amen.

Peace be with you

May God bless you and give you the Holy Spirit to help you in every way,and guide you to live a happy and successful life and comfort you whenever you have trouble in life. You know, Jesus always bless all who follow Him. After risen on the third day, when He met His disciples the first time, He first bless them, saying,  “Peace be with you!” . Then, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
Write ‘Amen’ if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and receive the Holy Spirit. May the true ‘Peace be with you

‘ with God be with you.

Please, read the following Bible (John 20: 1-29) verses prayerfully to receive His blessing.

::The Empty Tomb:-

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.

‘Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene’

Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

‘Jesus Appears to His Disciples’

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”  And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:1-29)

Jesus bore our sin

May God bless you, my friends. Praise God, Jesus bore your sin and makes you God’s child.
Good Friday is celebrated every year all over the world to remember how Jesus Christ had suffered and died because of our sin. But, only because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, our sins are forgiven by God and accepted us as His children through Jesus.
Read these lines, prophet Isaiah foretold many year years before Jesus was born how He had to suffer to save us from sin:
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.
 He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.
He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
 After he has suffered,
    he will see the light of life and be satisfied;
by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:3-12)

Friend,  thank God in prayer if your sin has been taken away by Jesus Christ and pray to give you the Holy Spirit – to help, guide and teach you live a worthy life as His child.
If not yet, call Jesus to take away your sin by confessing your sin; invite Him to become the King in your life – to direct and control your life; accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Pray to give you the Holy Spirit – to help, guide and teach you live a worthy life as His child.
Write ‘Amen’ if you pray. May God bless you.

Forgive others to enjoy peace of mind

God bless you and give you a joyous life. To be happy and enjoy peace of mind, don’t hate any body. Forgive others if they committed mistake, do not angry if they do you wrong. If so, you will be the happiest person.
If you are angry with others, you lost your happiness. Your mind will become revengeful, having no peace of mind but heavy heart. Such condition can easily lead you to commit many mistakes leading to the worst consequences. Whereas, the one with whom you are angry will not have such heavy mind and heart. The burden is on you and not on that person.
When you forgive others, all the sinful mind, thinking, revenge mind will leave you and you will become happy. You will feel light and fresh. Fear will vanish from your mind. You will begin to get comfort and start a new way of joyous life. This means, God forgive you when you forgive others. True peace of mind can be enjoyed only be receiving the forgiveness of God.
That is why. The Son of Almighty God, Jesus Christ says:
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15)
Again, Jesus says - ‘ Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” {  But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. } (Mark 11:24-26)’
Forgive anyone who do you wrong so that you may enjoy life. God will forgive you if you forgive others. But, true peace of mind can be received when we receive the forgiveness of God.
To receive the forgiveness of God – call on Jesus, confess your sin to God in prayer, ask forgiveness. Invite Jesus Christ to become your Lord and Saviour. Accept Him as Lord, surrendering your life in His hand – to direct your life. Thank Him for dying on the Cross for your sake and saved you  and make you God;s child. Pray that He may send the Holy Spirit to help, teach and guide you live a worthy life as God’s child.
If you have already accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, pray that He may send you the Holy Sprit to help, teach, guide and comfort you as you live a New Life in Jesus.

Be like children

God bless you, my friends as you observe ‘second day of the Passion week of Jesus’. Remember, after Jesus clean the Temple ‘ The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.  But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
“‘From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?” (Matthew 21:14-16)
Friend, we must be like children! Children are very innocence - have pure mind, pure heart and simple character. Jesus praise children and tells us to be like children. They believe in God and believe all must be good and loving.  Therefore, true praise of God come out from their mouth.
When one receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, God forgive his sins and bless with the Holy Spirit. This person become God’s child. Such new believer, new ‘spiritually born again person’ becomes a new born baby  in God’s family. He has pure heart and innocence. He knows his weakness. He rely on God, depend on God’s guidance; always pray and praise the Lord.
In our social life, too, persons like children can associate with all and all like and love such persons. So, let’s always try to be like children as mention above. Let’s always pray to God for helping us be like that so that we may become what God wants be like for His children.

Jesus at the Temple

May God bless you, my friends.   THE PASSION WEEK starts today. Jesus found the Temple being used as business transaction place. Let’s read the Bible –

‘ When Jesus entered the temple courts, he began to drive out those who were selling.
“It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be a house of prayer’; but you have made it ‘a den of robbers.”
Every day he was teaching at the temple. But the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the leaders among the people were trying to kill him. Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words. (Luke 19:45 - 47)’
Friends, the Bible tells us that we are the temple of God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in the believers of God and Jesus. So, as we said yesterday, consider that Jesus came to you and meet you. What does He find in you? What is your condition?
If He find you like he found the condition of the Temple mentioned here, what will He do?
Jesus entered the Temple and drive out all those who are doing different business of profits not fit to be done in temple. So, He drove out all those unclean things,
We all are sinner, full of unclean things. We all are filthy, full of wrong, as we are born sinner.
Are you afraid to meet Jesus now, in this condition? Are you afraid Jesus to enter in you?
Don’t afraid, my friends. Jesus know that we are sinner, full of wrong. That’s why God sent Him here to save us from sin, to clean us from all uncleanliness!
Don’t be afraid, instead call Him in prayer to come to and enter in you. When He comes to you, He will clean out all sins and uncleanliness. He will drive out sin with all the power that enslave you and set you free from the power of sin. He will wash all your blemishes and make you as white as snow! He will forgive you. God will forgive you all your sin and misdeed and make you His child in the name of Jesus Christ. Then, no power of sin can no longer exercise power over your life and soul! He will set you free from all bad habit, bad character, bad behavior, bad thinking. He will change you to be a good person, worthy to call ‘God’s chil’. Then, He will bless you abundantly and gives you joy, hope, good health, luck and success in whatever you do! He will send to you the all powerdul Helper  The Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ to help you, teach you, guide you live a worthy life as the child of God.
So, call on Jesus in prayer and invit Him to come and enter in you to become your Lord and Saviour, to be King in you to control and  direct your life.
Write ‘Amen’ if you call on Jesus in prayer. May God bless you.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the day we remember the "triumphal entry" of Jesus into Jerusalem, exactly one week before His resurrection (Matthew 21:1-11). Some 450-500 years earlier, the Prophet Zechariah had prophesied, "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9).Matthew 21:7-9 records the fulfillment of that prophecy:
"They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!’” This event took place on the Sunday before Jesus' crucifixion.

In remembrance of this event, we celebrate Palm Sunday. It is referred to as Palm Sunday because of the palm branches that were laid on the road as Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem. Palm Sunday was the fulfillment of the Prophet Daniel's "seventy sevens" prophecy: "

Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times" (Daniel 9:25).John 1:11tells us, "He (Jesus) came to His own, and His own did not receive Him." The same crowds that were crying out "Hosanna" were crying out "crucify Him" five days later (Matthew 27:22-23). ( from - GotQuestions.org)

JESUS COMES TO YOU AS KING OF YOUR LIFE

Tomorrow is ‘Palm Sunday’, the day Jesus entered into Jerusalem as King(Luke 19:28-44). That day, disciples of Jesus shouted with joy “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Hope Jesus come to you as King in your life to take His throne in your life and you shout in joy! You know, Jesus enters into the life of one who receive Him as Lord and Saviour. To these persons, God send the Holy Spirit– to help, guide and give power and blesss, provides all necessary for life. Then, such persons  “Rejoice in the Lord always” ,which no one or nothing can taken away. Such person always praise the Lord in prayer, sing joyous songs, always talk  and preach the Message of Salvation in Jesus Christ, which no one or nothing can stop him.
But when Jesus saw the real inhabitants of the city of Jerusalem, they did not received Him as their King (as Lord and Saviour)! So, Jesus was angry and not many years after Jesus died Jerusalem was conquered by other nation and occupied till date!  How dreadful is the anger of God! – Read the Bible verses here :
‘ As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said,
“If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.  They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.” (Luke 19:28-44)’
Rejecting Jesus Christ is eternal condemnation. Hope you do not reject Him but have accepted Him as Lord and Saviour and has enters in your life as King and is blessing you as His beloved child.
If so, thank God in prayer, in your way of life, in action. Pray God to send Jesus for your King and the Holy Spirit to help and guide you throughout your life.
If not yet, call on Jesus in prayer now – confess you sin, request Him to forgive you and invite Him to enter in you, control your life as your Lord and Saviour and King of your life. Then, also ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to help and guide you live a worthy life as God’s Child in Jesus.
God bless you.

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King

God bless you, friends. You become God’s child as Jesus died for us, for which God forgives all our sin against Him, just when we accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour,  accepting the dead of Jesus has paid the penalty we would have to pay. Hope you will join the celebration of ‘Palm Sunday’ this Sunday, to remember the tramphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem more than 2000 years ago. Please attend the nearest Church service in your locality or if there is no such church service where you are – invite some friends and hold prayer service on the coming Sunday.
You know, Jesus’ riding into Jerusalem was to make public His claim to be their Messiah and King of Israel in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy,
“Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” (Zechariah 9:9)
Jesus rides into His capital city as a conquering King and is hailed by the people as such, in the manner of the day. The streets of Jerusalem, the royal city, are open to Him, and like a king, He ascends to His palace, not a temporal palace, but the spiritual palace which is the temple, because His is a spiritual kingdom. He receives the worship and praise of the people because only He deserves it. No longer does He tell His disciples to be quiet about Him (Matthew 12:16, 16:20), but to shout His praises and worship Him openly. The spreading of cloaks was an act of homage for royalty (see 2 Kings 9:13). Jesus was openly declaring to the people that He was their King and the Messiah they had been waiting for.
Jesus enters into the life of one who receive Him as Lord and Saviour. That person “Rejoice in the Lord always” ,which no one or nothing can stopped but continue to rejoice, continue to thank God and spread the ‘Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ’.
Friend, “Rejoice in the Lord!” as you become ‘Zion” -  dwelling place of the Lord that the Holy Spirit is in you since you become God’s child as you have accepted Jesus for your Lord and Saviour.  Jesus become you king and your spirit rejoice in the Lord, praising Jesus. This joyful singing of song, prayer and preaching of Jesus can not be stopped by anybody. The saved people in Jesus is so clear that they can not keep quiet but continue to praise the Lord. They continue to thank God. They continue to spread the word of God.
When Pharisees asked Jesus to rebuke the shouting disciples, Jesus answered that if these people can stop shouting the stones will shout. This means, it is impossible to keep the believers or saved people of Jesus Christ. No one can stop them from praising the Lord.
I hope, you are also saved person, forgiven person and become God’s child that your joy “Rejoice in the Lord” ca not be stopped by any body or be anything.
Please read this with prayer in the name of Jesus and receive the blessing of God – ‘
:Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King :  After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them,  “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
They replied, “The Lord needs it.”
They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it.  As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road.
When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.  They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.” (Luke 19:28-44)
Write ‘Amen’ if you “Rejoice in the Lord’ and praise His name. May God bless you.

significance of the triumphal

The triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem is  what we know as Palm Sunday, the Sunday before the crucifixion (John 12:1, 12). The story of the triumphal entry is appears in all four Gospel accounts (Matthew 21:1-17; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:29-40; John 12:12-19). We celebrate Palm Sunday to remember that momentous occasion.
On that day, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a borrowed donkey’s colt, one that had never been ridden before. The disciples spread their cloaks on the donkey for Jesus to sit on, and the multitudes came out to welcome Him, laying before Him their cloaks and the branches of palm trees. The people hailed and praised Him as the “King who comes in the name of the Lord” as He rode to the temple, where He both taught the people, healed them, and drove out the money-changers and merchants who had made His Father’s house a “den of robbers” (Mark 11:17).
Jesus’ purpose in riding into Jerusalem was to make public His claim to be their Messiah and King of Israel in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. Matthew tells us that the King coming on the foal of a donkey was an exact fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9, “Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Jesus rides into His capital city as a conquering King and is hailed by the people as such, in the manner of the day.
Unfortunately, the praise the people lavished on Jesus was not because they recognized Him as their Messiah. They welcomed Him out of their desire for a deliverer, someone who would lead them in a revolt against Rome. There were many who, though they did not believe in Christ with a spiritual faith, nevertheless hoped that perhaps He might be to them a great temporal deliverer. These are the ones who hailed Him as King with their many Hosannas, recognizing Him as the Son of David who came in the name of the Lord. But when He failed in their expectations, when He refused to lead them in a massive revolt against the Roman occupiers and those who collaborated with them, the crowds quickly turned on Him. Within just a few days, their Hosannas would change to cries of “Crucify Him!” (Luke 23:20-21). Those who hailed Him as a hero would soon reject and abandon Him.
The story of the triumphal entry is one of contrasts and those contrasts are the application to believers. It is the story of the King who came as a lowly servant on a donkey, not a prancing steed, not in royal robes, but on the clothes of the poor and humble. Jesus Christ comes not to conquer by force as earthly kings, but by love, grace, mercy, and His own sacrifice for His people. His is not a kingdom of armies and splendor, but of lowliness and servanthood. He conquers not nations, but hearts and minds. His message is one of peace with God, not of temporal peace. If Jesus has made a triumphal entry into our hearts, He reigns there in peace and love. As His followers, we exhibit those same qualities, and the world sees the true King living and reigning in triumph in us. (Courtesy- GotQuestions.org)

One God

May God bless you and give you what you need most today! Please, read this and pray to Jesus to receive the blessing of God. Most religions teach-
“ There is one God and different  religions of the world follow different path but will reach the same place”.
Yes, every body will go to God. Jesus Christ also says “All the nations will be gathered before Him” (Matthew 25:32). But,  for ‘Judgement!’ and not necessarily to live with God.
Study this :-
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fireprepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. ” Matthew 25:31-46)
Friends, you believe in God, one God. You are Christian and believe in one God. Every one, except atheist believe in one supreme God and even those who believe and worship many gods and goddesses believes in one God.
You know ‘Christian’ means ‘Believer, follower of Jesus Christ!  ‘Christian’ doesnot mean ‘believers and followers of one God?
What does ‘one’ means here for you? Will you change your ‘Christian’ to believer of ‘one God’, without knowing the exact meaning of the ‘one’ here? There may be many ‘one god’ . Different ‘one God’ teach be different religion.
Jesus says in Gospel John 14  “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Jesus the Way to the Father

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14 :1-14 NIV)
Friend, I hope you understand what Jesus is telling us. Ask Jesus in prayer if you don’t know. Be like Philips here, be frank. Don’t do acting as if you know. Prefer to be frank like Philip and ask Jesus in prayer by admitting that you still don’t know  what Jesus is teaching us. He will give you understanding. And if you understand, thank God in prayer.
Write ‘Amen’ if you pray. May Jesus Christ be in you always.
