Tomorrow is ‘Palm Sunday’, the day Jesus entered into Jerusalem as King(Luke 19:28-44). That day, disciples of Jesus shouted with joy “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Hope Jesus come to you as King in your life to take His throne in your life and you shout in joy! You know, Jesus enters into the life of one who receive Him as Lord and Saviour. To these persons, God send the Holy Spirit– to help, guide and give power and blesss, provides all necessary for life. Then, such persons “Rejoice in the Lord always” ,which no one or nothing can taken away. Such person always praise the Lord in prayer, sing joyous songs, always talk and preach the Message of Salvation in Jesus Christ, which no one or nothing can stop him.
But when Jesus saw the real inhabitants of the city of Jerusalem, they did not received Him as their King (as Lord and Saviour)! So, Jesus was angry and not many years after Jesus died Jerusalem was conquered by other nation and occupied till date! How dreadful is the anger of God! – Read the Bible verses here :
‘ As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said,
“If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls.They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.” (Luke 19:28-44)’
Rejecting Jesus Christ is eternal condemnation. Hope you do not reject Him but have accepted Him as Lord and Saviour and has enters in your life as King and is blessing you as His beloved child.
If so, thank God in prayer, in your way of life, in action. Pray God to send Jesus for your King and the Holy Spirit to help and guide you throughout your life.
If not yet, call on Jesus in prayer now – confess you sin, request Him to forgive you and invite Him to enter in you, control your life as your Lord and Saviour and King of your life. Then, also ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to help and guide you live a worthy life as God’s Child in Jesus.
