BE BLESSED AS YOU WITNESS JESUS CHRIST

Many Christian think that witnessing Jesus Christ involves risk. I find it is rather  pleasing and many times I get constant blessing being a Christian.
I used to pray when I take my seats in Train, Bus, and other public vehicles. Other passengers feel comfort to be with me and even offer me their eatables to eat, newspapers to read, comfortable seats. Even when there was ethnic violence in this area, the localities where I travel with took care of me so much that they constantly talked with me when some doubtful persons entered, thus saving me of disturbances.

The Abundant Life

Friends, Christian should have a peaceful, success and satisfied life. But we find, many Christians, even Church leaders do not have such coveted life. Why? Why don’t we have such blessed life? There must be something we lag behind, let us consider the matter.
We know that by believing God and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, God has given us ‘eternal life’, as the Bible says, “everyone who believes ( in Jesus Christ ) may have eternal life in him.” (John 3:15).
But there is more than just to have ‘eternal life’. Jesus said “ . . ….. I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” (John 10:10).
Thus, we understand that all believers have life, but not all have abundant life. To have ‘eternal life’ is one thing and to have ‘abundant life’ is more than that. Jesus Christ came that we might have life abundantly. If we don’t have this abundant life, we will not be able to live a good Christian, spiritual life. Jesus, therefore, wants to give us this abundant life, so that we may be like Him. Without it, the Christian life becomes inane and meaningless.
To have abundant life, we must have abundant resources, and the only unlimited source of life is in the Person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. So, Jesus says, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  (John 14:6).
To possess this abundant life, we must abide in Him (Jesus Christ). Jesus says,

Has God forgiven you

You may, sometimes, have doubt of your Salvation, especially when you find you are no much better than before.
Don’t rely on anyone else to get the confirmation, rely on Jesus and the word of God in the Bible, which says,
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us.”( 1 John 1:9)

GOSPEL IS FOR ALL

No one preach ‘Gospel’ by force, all are telling others the Love of God reveal in Jesus Christ. None is force to respond. But all who enjoy the love of God in Jesus Christ are commanded to tell others that they may receive and enjoy the Love of God with all the blessings.
What God said to our Lord Jesus Christ is written in Isaiah 49:6 – “He says: “It is too small a thing for You (Jesus) to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacobs and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make You a light ( to give the message of God’s Love for all) for the Gentiles (all tribes other than Israel) that You may bring salvation to the ends of the earth(all people living on earth).” (Isaiah 49:6)
Therefore, Jesus came to the world and after teaching the Good News of Salvation of God through Him, He died on the cross as a sacrifices for all that all who believe in Him (Jesus) and accept Him as Lord and Saviour (no longer make sacrifices to please God as Jesus has sacrificed His life once for all for who believes in Him), have everlasting life with God. This is called Gospel.

Love others as you love yourself

“Love your neighbour as you love yourself” says Jesus in Matthew 22:39.
But, do you love yourself?
If you do not love yourself, you are not qualified to love others!
If you love yourself you must care for your life, body, mind and spirit. You must eat and drink what is best for your body, mind and soul. You must love your creator God, who created you to be His obedient child. You must come to Jesus, who love you and died for you so that you may become the beloved child of God. You must accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. You must always pray for His constant help so that you may live a good life. If so, He will send the Holy Sprit  to help and guide you live a good, success and joyous life, a life worthy as the child of God.  When you love your creator God and have life with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit guidance life, you will be qualified to love others.

LOVING OTHERS

God created man to have close relationship with Him. God created woman (Eve) to be a helper and companion of man (Adam). Genesis chapter 2 says that after God had created Adam,He created Eve to be his helper, read : “ The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2:18)  “ Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.” (Genesis 2:22)’
Therefore, God’s design is that we must have relationship with Him and also have relationship with other human beings as friends, family, co-workers, neighbours and so on.
Jesus tells us that our first duty is to love our Creator God and love others as well saying
”‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-39).

GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION COMPLETE IN JESUS CHRIST

The Word Became Flesh :
In the beginning was the WORD(Jesus), and the WORD (Jesus)was with God, and the WORD(Jesus) was God.  HE (Jesus)was with God in the beginning. Through HIM(Jesus) all things were made; without HIM(Jesus) nothing was made that has been made.  In HIM(Jesus) was LIFE, and that LIFE was the LIGHT of all mankind.  The LIGHT shines in the DARKNESS, and the DARKNESS has not overcome (Or understood ) it.
There was a man sent from God whose name was John.  He came as a witness to testify concerning that LIGHT, so that through him all might believe.  He himself was not the LIGHT; he came only as a witness to the LIGHT.

12. JESUS IS OUR FRIEND

Every person need friend, to accompany, to share and to help him. True friendship is what everyone need. We may not have true friend here on earth. However, Jesus is our true friend in every situation and everywhere.
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ says, “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. (John 15:15).
Be proud to be a friend of Jesus, the Son of God. He is all powerful and can help you in everyway. He accompany you everywhere and in every situation. He promised to be with all the believers ( who accepted Him as Lord and Saviour) specially in His work:
“ Then Jesus came to them and said,“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
