Watch your life and doctrine closely

 “Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will   save both yourself and your hearers.” (1 Tim 4:16NIV)

A ‘doctrine’ is what the whole Bible teaches about a particular topic, such as about  God, Jesus, sin, Salvation, condemnation, etc.

Always Put Jesus First in All Things

To be a disciple of Jesus Christ, we must deny ourselves, our selfishness and abandon worldly things. Live a life bearing the Cross, live humble life, tolerance and bear problems with patience. Follow Jesus by always focus on Him. In every area of life, we must put our Lord Jesus and His will that we may live a life pleasing to Him.

Salvation is Only Through Faith in Jesus Christ

There is nothing we can do to be saved from the punishment of sin and enter in heaven. The only way we can be saved and become the children of God is by having faith in Jesus Christ and received Him for our personal Lord and Savior.

The Bible says " Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”(Galatians 3:11)  

Be Sure of Your Salvation in Christ

Many Christians are not sure of their salvation. They are doubtful even after they ask God to forgive their sin and asking Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Saviour. You may also be doubtful of your salvation. Believe in God and His words in the Bible. The Bible is the written word of God.

Where There is love
