Telling good news to others is pleasing to others as well as to us. Telling the story of our New Life in Christ is more pleasing to our mind and soul than any other good news. Because, spiritual blessing is the root of all other blessings.
When we tell others about our good news, God’s love in Christ (Gospel), we enjoy the God’s blessings more as the Apostle John says, “……And we are writing this that our joy may be complete.” 1 John 1:1-4.)
In fact, every true believer desire to share with others what God has done for him, as the Samaritan woman ( John 4:28-30).
Some feel compel to tell others as Peter and John, " for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard." (Acts 4:20)
Our Lord Jesus Christ command us to witness Him and says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." (Mat 28:19-20)
To all who witness, God will give power through the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and receive power to live a victorious Christian life and serve Christ effectively. (See Ephesians 5:18 and Luke 11:13.)
Therefore, study the Bible daily and always pray. Also pray daily for others and ask God for wisdom as you share Christ with them. (See James 1:5, 3:17).
Always pray and ask God to give you the Holy Spirit to help and guide you (John 16:7-11) to live a good consistent Christ-centered life that may “ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16).
In my experience, I receive the blessing of God in Christ the more in return, when I tell others about Christ - the more it goes out the more I receive in joy and in knowledge.
So, I request you to study more, pray more and share more and more. God will surely bless you more. The more you give, the more you will receive.
God bless you.
