Jesus Loves and cares for us. He knows our weakness that we
often commit mistake. Even then, He loves us and stands for us before God the
Father and pleads in our favour.
He is our Advocate and Mediator. He pleads for us and intercedes
for us (1 John 2:1). He is always pleading our case before the Father, like a
defense lawyer on our behalf. (Hebrews 7:25).
Jesus intercedes for us while Satan accuses us, pointing out
our sins and frailties before God, just as he did with Job (Job 1:6-12).
Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. “For there
is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1
Timothy 2:5).
God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ
to save us from eternal condemnation( John 3:16-18)
Jesus loves us so much that He bore
our sins and died on our behalf. God imputed our sin to Jesus when Jesus died on
the cross.
Therefore, God no longer pay heed to
the accusations of Satan against us as Jesus has already paid our sin debt in
full. God no longer sees the sin of believers but always sees the perfect
righteousness of Jesus in His followers.
