When You Pray, Expect the Unexpected

Scripture: “He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.” John 1:10-11
Our Father Knows Best
Sometimes God gives us exactly what we ask for, when we ask for it. But when His answers don’t come right away, it’s often because He has something much better for us. This series discusses some of the many ways God answers prayer.

EVERY CHRISTIAN IS WITNESS OF CHRIST

“Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God” (Romans 1:1)
Don’t  left out this verse just a ‘Greetings’. This is Paul’s public confession. Paul is very sure of his salvation through Jesus Christ. Not only that, he is so sure that Christ has chosen him and set apart for His witness, to preach the Gospel of God. Paul sets example to be followed by all believers.

Every true Christian, all who becomes Jesus follower must dare to believe, accept and claim that Jesus Christ has called him to be His witness. He must take the responsibility.

When God Wants to Answer Your Prayer

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:11

“If God Really Hears Me, Why Does It Feel Like He Does Not?”

Have you been praying for something? Although it might sometimes feel like God does not hear your prayer, Scripture and experience help us know that God loves to answer “yes” to the requests of His children. Sometimes His answers are not what we expect, but He promises to supply the needs of His beloved children.

God Might Answer “Yes”

What should I look for in a Christian girlfriend?

The sort of dating relationships that are seen today aren't mentioned in the Bible. Marriage and betrothal are the only types of romantic relationships seen in Scripture. What this means is that a Christian girlfriend should be, first and foremost, a potential marriage partner. A Christian man should be seeking a woman to spend his life with, not just someone to have fun with. If a man is not ready to get married, he should not be pursuing a Christian girlfriend.

FEAR THE LORD For Your OWN Benefit

“ ….. what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it. Yet the Lord set his affection ….. and he chose you…….

EXPERIENCE JESUS MORE-1

You know Jesus. Please know Him more. Jesus is not just a ‘person’ or ‘a living embodiment’. Jesus is ‘ a Force’. Please, experience His ‘dynamic force’ and  experience Him more and more. The more you experience Him, the more blessing  of God you will receive.
I do not say, I have experienced Him much. But, I have some and want to share about this of experience so that together we may receive the blessing of God more and more. This is my inner feeling, as our Lord Jesus Christ Himself tells us to ‘love one another’.

Three Kinds of People

The Bible tells us that there are three kinds of people...

Natural Man, Spiritual Man, and  Carnal Man.

Natural Man : is one who has not received Christ.
“A natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised” -1 Corinthians 2:14.
Spiritual Man : is One who is directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
“He who is spiritual appraises all things...We have the mind of Christ” -1 Corinthians 2:15.

BELIEVERS NEED GOOD GUIDE 1

When one yielded his life to Jesus, transformation takes place. Our Lord is so incredible and the transformed life He offers!
A person who is newly born spiritually can be compared with a newborn baby. Both are at risk. Both need help. Both require protection, care and nurture. Just as the young baby needs natural food, the person born spiritually needs the right kind of spiritual food.

You Can Have Joy in Trials

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.” James 1:2

Why does God allow trials in our life? They help build our faith and dependence on God. The Bible says our faith is like gold that needs to be purified and refined in fire. The joy comes when we realize the fire makes the end product more valuable and beautiful.

GOD LOVES YOU, WANTS YOU BE HAPPY, BEAR FRUIT

“God is Love” (1 John 4:8) He wants us to live a happy life.
God never demand anything from us. He never wants us to give Him any offering and sacrifice.
He only wants us to give our heart, that is, believe in Him, understand His love for us and follow His instructions so that we may continually have fellowship with Him and enjoy His blessings.
He also wants us to love each other and have love relationship among us.

God Answer Prayer In Jesus Name

Jesus says, “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. “(Jo n 14:13-14)
Don’t think that if we ask God anything, we will receive it as long as we use "in Jesus' name."

A True Christian Have A Blessed Life

A true Christian life is a peace, secured and blessed life. Yet most Christian lives restless, insecure and worried live.
 Why?
Nominal Christian cannot have a blessed life. If you are so,don’t pretend but seek the help of God. Admit you are sinner and confess your sin. Ask God to forgive you. Invite Jesus Christ to become your personal Lord and Saviour. Surrender and entrust your life in His hand. Ask Him to make you God’s chil and bless you.

An Answer to Prayer, Beyond Imagination

“All glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20

“Why is God taking so long to answer?”
Have you been praying hard for God to work in your life? Scripture tells us that God hears our prayers; yet we might wait years for His answers. Eventually, though, His response can be greater than anything we can expect.

Sin - God's Remedy

- "Man, not willing to accept God's remedy for his ruin, strives to bring about his own salvation by human means.-
01) He strives for self-righteousness, when he needs to be made the "righteousness of God" (2 Corinthians 5:21 & Isaiah 64:6). –

Sin- Its Result

"" . . . the wages of sin is death." (Ephesians 2:1)  As a result of man's sin, there are three deaths. Keep in mind that death does not annihilate; it only separates. In the Garden of Eden, it separated man from God spiritually; this is spiritual death. In natural death, it separates the spirit and the soul from the body; this is physical death. In final death, it separates man from the mercy of God forever; this is eternal death.

Blessing or Curse

God is Holy. No man is holy. Human wants are unlimited. No one get satisfaction in his/her wealth, health and position, when God wants us to be satisfied with what we have. Man’s heart and mind (at least sometimes) is filled with dissatisfaction, anger, unhappiness, anxiety, jealousy, and hatred. All think and act against the will of God. Therefore, no man is free from sin. No human being deserves the true blessing of God, and to receive His Salvation  to be in Heaven with Him eternally.

Mother are Ma

Mothers are the foundation of all men and women, excluding God. Love, regard, respect , care and help your mother and all mothers. God will bless you.
The first man utter after birth is ‘Ma’. You don’t need to teach the baby, he will call his mother ‘Ma’ automatically. Because, a baby feels and enjoy first the love of ‘Mother’.

REMAIN IN LORD JESUS CHRIST

" If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.." (John 15:7)
We are commanded to pray, God promise us to answer “‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”(Jeremiah 33:3).
To get answers to prayer - we are to remain in Him, to remain in His perfect will at all cost.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1, 2).

Sin - Its Existence

"It is impossible to deny the existence of sin, when the whole world is in conflict between good and evil. If sin were not a fact, there would be no crime; we would not need jails or prisons. We would need no locks on our doors, or vaults for our valuables.  To some, sin is being indiscreet; or it is a weakness of the flesh.  To others, it is the absence of good. To the so-called scholar, sin is ignorance; and to the evolutionist, it is the nature of the beast.  The latest theory is that sin is a disease to be treated by science, because man is not a sinner - he is only sick. To others, sin is a form of selfishness, but God declares that:

Sin - Its Origin

"The origin of sin is one of the mysteries of the Bible. "The secret things belong to the Lord our God." (Deuteronomy 29:29). Its origin is one of the "secret things" that will remain wrapped in obscurity. Sin was first noted in the heart of Satan. He was created a perfect being, " . . . Until unrighteousness was found in you." (Ezekiel 28:11-19). Satan fell from perfection when he exerted his will above the will of God. Five times he said, "I will" (Isaiah 14:12-17). It was his will over God's will - this is sin.

Pray

Prayer is a Conversation With God
Prayer is a conversation with God. One part of a conversation is talking. The other part is listening. This is the privilege we have as Christian. Enjoy talking with God always.

God loves you.(1 John 3:1). He created you to enjoy a personal relationship with Him. Prayer is the best way to have constant fellowship with our Creator God. He wants you to talk with Him always. He wants you to tell Him about your condition regularly.
The more time you spend with Him, the better you get to know Him and the more you grow to love Him.

Sin - Introduction

"In considering the question of sin, we are faced with two startling facts.

The first fact is that man makes so little of sin.  To some, it is an illusion - a religious mirage - the invention of some fanatic.  It is denied, joked about, and laughed at by man.  Many who believe sin to be a fact, continue in it with little thought of its penalty.

What is the biblical method of evangelism?

When trying to decide how to share Christ with someone, the starting point should be the same as that of John the Baptist and Jesus Himself. Matthew 3:2 tells us that John began his ministry with the words "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." Repentance refers to a "change of mind," which implies sorrow for past offences (2 Corinthians 7:10), a deep sense of the evil of sin as committed against God (Psalm 51:4), and a conscious decision to turn from sin to God. The first words Jesus spoke when He began His public ministry were identical to John's (Matthew 4:17).

Call Jesus To Help You Overcome Temptation

Satan never wants you to be in relationship with God. He always try to pull you down. when this happens, call your Saviour Jesus Christ in prayer. Ask Him to help you overcome temptation. Trust esus Christ, who is able to help you. God promises you will not be tempted more than you can bear

JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH YOU

We sometimes doubt, frustrated, and feel weak and all alone. But we are never alone; Jesus Christ is in you. He wants to help you. He wants to make you a Godly person (Philippians 1:6). He wants to give you all you need and take care of you daily (Hebrews 13:5).
Jesus knows the weaknesses of His followers. He knows that we need spiritual power. He wants us to know that, even though we cannot see Him in our naked eyes, He is with us. That the Holy Spirit is with all His followers to take His place and help us.(John 14:16).
The Holy Spirit is our Counselor, Helper, Teacher, Guide and “comforter.”
Jesus promised His followers that the Holy Spirit will guide us to the truth (John 16:13). He will leads you (Romans 8:14). He will enrich your spiritual life (John 6:63; Romans 8:11). He will help you to live Christ like life (Galatians 5).
The Holy Spirit will also make you a dynamic witness of Jesus Christ to other people (Acts 1:8).
Therefor, read the Bible daily and always pray.

Talk With Your Friend

You stay with your friend the whole day without talking. What will your friend think of you? He/she will think, you are angry with him/her.
Jesus calls us ‘Friends’ (John 15:15) He  is with you always. You don’t talk with Him the whole day. What will He think of you? He will think, you are angry with Him.
Are you angry with your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ?
If not, please talk with Him. He wants that you to talk with Him.
Talking with God is called ‘Prayer’.
Pray to God always. Then, He will help you and bless you.

Love Never Ends

“Love never ends” says the Bible in 1 Corinthians 13:8 ESV.
In other versions, its says, “Love never fails”.
What’s about your ‘Love’? Will it ‘end’ or ‘fails’?
Your ‘Love for your partner, ‘Love’ for parents, brothers and sisters, your love for Jesus Christ, God. Will your  Love for them ‘end or fail’?
Both ‘words’ are translated from the same word and are same in representing the nature of God, (Never ends, never fails).
Read verse 8 in full :  “Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.( 1 Corinthians 13:8 ESV)
God has given us many good qualities – such as knowledge, strength, courage, skill, beauty, sweet voice, and others. All are temporary and all will pass away. Everything may pass away. But, “Love never ends, never fail”.
Because, “Love is God” (1 John 4:8) ‘Love’ is the nature of God.
God is eternal (Hebrews 9:14). So, ‘Love is Eternal’.
God gives us His quality and nature ‘Love’.  This is God’s ‘image in us. But, the true Love, the true quality of God is only in His children, who believed in Him and receive His only Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
If you want to have this ‘true Love’, call Jesus in prayer. Invite Him to become your Lord and Saviour. Pray Him to forgive you, your sin and the sin you committed in not inviting Him earlier.
If you want your spouse (life partner) to have this ‘true love of God’, pray for him/her. Tell him/her to call on Jesus and receive Him as Lord and Saviour.
Jesus will come and live in you, with your spouse. He will give you the best Love (true love of God) and will bless you abundantly.
