KIDNAP FOR GOOD PURPOSE

Today all are afraid to hear about the word ‘kidnap’. Because one ‘kidnapped’ someone for bad purpose. In Church history, we find ‘kidnap’ was carried out for good purpose.
John of Antioch, known as ‘John Chrysostom’ was kidnapped in 398 by a senior military official to a chapel outside the city’s walls. There he was seized by soldiers and transported 800 miles to the capital, where he was forcibly consecrated as ‘Archbishop of Constantinople’.
John’s kidnapping was arranged by Euptropius, a government official, who wanted to adorn the church in the capital city with the best orator in Christianity. John had never sought the office, but he accepted it as God’s providence.
In fact, ‘Chrysostom’ means ‘Golden mouth’. John was called ‘John Chrysostom’ because of his eloquent and uncompromising preaching of the gospel.
Friends, God can reward any of His faithful and spirit-filled children.

God - His Trinity

"By the Trinity of God we mean His tri-personal existence as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - three distinct Persons in one God.

1) The Father is recognized as God (1 Peter 1:2) and is all the fullness of the Godhead invisible (John 1:18).

2) The Son is recognized as God (Hebrews 1:8) and is all the fullness of the Godhead manifested in the flesh ((John 1:14).

3) The Holy Spirit is recognized as God (Acts 5:3,4) and is all the fullness of the Godhead acting upon man, convicting him of sin (John 16:7-11) and guiding the believer into all truth (John 16:12-15).

4) The doctrine of the Trinity is not explicit in the Old Testament, but is rather implied, "Then God said, Let Us make man ..." (Genesis 1:26).

5) The doctrine of the Trinity is revealed in the New Testament.  In Matthew 3:16, 17 we have Christ being baptized in water, the Father speaking from heaven, and the Holy Spirit descending as a dove. We are to baptize in the "name (not names) of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19).

6) Even creation implies the doctrine of the Trinity. In creation, we have space, matter and time in one creation. In space, we have length, breadth, and height in one space.  In matter, we have energy, motion, and phenomenon in one substance.  In time, we have past, present, and future in one time. In man we have body, soul, and spirit in one man. (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

7) In the Holy Trinity, we have Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one God."

I pray this helps you to be able to give an answer to anyone about what you believe and why you believe it. I also hope this blesses you and encourages you to love, praise, thank, and pray to each person of the Holy Trinity.

Worldly Problems Can No Longer Disturb God’s People

There may be problems in this life on earth. But God cares those who are followers of Jesus Christ. Worldly troubles will not be able to disturbed them as the grace of God protect them.
Ancient Serpent may bite them but its poison will nolonger be able to injure much the God’s people. Because their Saviour Jesus Christ has already crushed its head and saved and protect them from enemy, satan (ancient serpent).
Praise be the God of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Even the great servant of Jesus Apostle Paul was biten by ancient serpent. He prayed God to healed him of that minor injury, as he said ,
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. “(2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ESV)
To enjoy the grace of God always, study Hid words in the Bible daily and pray continuously.

God and His Grace

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;" (Ephesians 2:8)
"Grace is the love and mercy of God in action. Mercy is negative, and love is positive; both together mean grace. To show mercy in love is grace. God showed mercy in love when He sent His Son to bear our sins in His own body on the cross. (John 3:16)
 01) The grace of God saves forever (Romans 8:38, 39).
02) The grace of God is unconditional; that is, we are not saved on the condition that we "hold out unto the end" or that we "fail not" or that we "do our best." We are saved by the grace of God, apart from works.
03) The grace of God is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).
04) The grace of God makes no discrimination (Revelation 22:17).
05) The grace of God justifies (Romans 3:23, 24).
06) The grace of God makes every believer an heir (Titus 3:7).
07) The grace of God teaches the believer how to live (Titus 2:11, 12).
The grace of God is nothing less than the unlimited love of God expressed in the gift of His Son, our Savior. It is the undeserved love of God toward sinners."

Thank you Father God for your amazing, infinite grace!

SIN THAT LEADS TO DEATH

God can forgive all sin, except one -  ‘unpardonable sin’. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
“If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.” (1 John 5: 16-17)
‘Sin’ that can not be forgiven by God is ‘rejection of God’s only Son Jesus Christ’. This ‘sin’ leads to eternal ‘death’ or condemnation.  “.. whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:18) John may also include some other ‘sin’ here.

God and His Nature

"The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love."  (1 John 4:8)
"There are four definitions of God in the Bible. Since God cannot be defined, they are incomplete. However, they do throw light upon the nature of God. They are:
 01) "God is love"  (1 John 4:8). This is the nature of God in His divine compassion.
 02) "God is light"  (1 John 1:5). This is the nature of God in His divine character; in Him there is no darkness.
 03) "God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29). This is the nature of God in His divine holiness.
 04) "God is spirit" (John 4:24). This is the nature of God in His divine essence.
The attributes of God reveal His nature. Do not think of His attributes as abstract, but as vital mediums through which His holy nature is unveiled - attributes ascribed to Him, such as:
 01) Life is ascribed to God (John 5:26).
02) All knowledge is ascribed to God (Psalm 147:5).
03) All power is ascribed to God (Revelation 19:6).
04) Filling the universe with His presence is ascribed to God (Psalm 139:1-10).
God is everywhere present, but He is not in everything. If God were in everything, man could worship any object and he would be worshipping God. God is a spirit being. "And those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
God bless you.

God – His Existence

"By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death; and he was not found because God took him up; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God.  And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."  (Hebrews 11:5-6)
"The Bible nowhere attempts to prove or argue the existence of God. "For he who comes to God must believe that He is."  The existence of God is a fact taken for granted by the writers of both the Old and New Testaments. "In the beginning God" (Genesis 1:1). The Bible opens by announcing the sublime fact of God and His existence. There are arguments for the existence of God; they are not conclusive, but are food for thought:
 1) Universal belief in God comes from within man. It is innate in man, and comes from rational intuition.
 2) The argument from "cause and effect."  Everything that began owes its existence to a cause. We have a watch; we must have a watchmaker. We have a building; we must have a builder. We have a creation; then we must have a creator. This creation could not have come into existence without an intelligent, personal creator, anymore than the alphabet could produce a book itself without an author.
3) The argument from anthropology.  Man's moral and intellectual nature argues for a moral and intellectual creator.
 4) The Bible and the Christ that it reveals, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death, and His bodily resurrection - all of this and much, much more - argue for the existence of God."

Woe to Unrepentant Persons

No person on earth can please God in own strength. The best person often think, do and live contrary to the will of God. To please God, we need God’s help.
How can God help us if we do not obey His command? God says that all human are sinner, living without God’s spirit. But God give us chance to be with Him and receive His blessing if we obey Him.
God says that we must repent our way of life and turn to Him. When we repent, turn to Him, and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, God forgive and forget our sins and give us a new life with blessings. (John 1:14 and 3:16-17)
Whereas, unrepented person will be condemned (John 3:17-18)
Read the following verses, giving your name in place of the ‘cities’ :
“Then he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.  “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.  But I tell you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.” (Matthew 11:20-24)

Be a Good Wife

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,  when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.  Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:1-4)

God is Infinite and Eternal Being

"The Bible reveals God as the only Infinite and Eternal Being, having no beginning and no ending. He is Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is the Supreme Personal Intelligence, and Righteous Ruler of His universe. He is life, and therefore, the only source of life. (John 5:26)
Man is natural and cannot know God by wisdom. "Can you discover the depths of God?" (Job 11:7)  God is a person and can be known only by revelation. In the Old Testament He revealed Himself to and through His prophets. In the New Testament He reveals Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1:3)"
The better we come to know God, the deeper our love grows; the deeper our love grows, the more we want to live lives pleasing to Him; the more we want to please Him, the easier it becomes to obey the teaching and commandments of Jesus.
Father God, I pray that as we spend time in Your Word, You will reveal more and more of Yourself to us, that knowing You better, loving You more deeply, we will grow day by day more into a likeness of Your Son, that Your Name may be magnified and glorified in all the earth.
May God bless you.

The Bible Has Special Power

"For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
"For the Word of God is living and active .  .":
 01) The Bible claims dividing power as a sword (Hebrews 4:12). The Bible will separate man from sin (Psalm 119:11), or sin will separate man from the Bible (Isaiah 59:2).
 02) The Bible claims reflecting power as a mirror (James 1:22-25). In the Bible we see ourselves as God sees us - as sinners (Romans 3:23).
03) The Bible claims cleansing power as water (Ephesians 5:26). David prayed that God would wash him from iniquity and cleanse him from sin (Psalm 51:2).
04) The Bible claims reproductive power as seed (1 Peter 1:23). We are children of God, because we have been born into the family of God by the imperishable seed of God. This is the new birth (John 3:1-7).
 05) The Bible claims nourishing power as food (1 Peter 2:2). The Bible is spiritual food for the soul. No Christian can remain strong in the Lord and not study the Word of God."

The Bible Is a Book of Oneness

"For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." (2 Peter 1:21)
"The oneness or unity of the Bible is a miracle. It is a library of 66 books, written by over 35 different authors, in a period of approximately 1,500 years. Represented in the authors is a cross section of humanity: educated and uneducated, including kings, fishermen, public officials, farmers, teachers, and physicians. Included in the subjects, are religion, history, science, poetry, drama, biography, and prophecy.
For 35 authors, with such varied backgrounds, to write on so many subjects over a period of approximately 1,500 years in absolute harmony, is a mathematical impossibility. It could not happen! Then how do we account for the Bible? The only adequate explanation is: " . . . men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God" (2 Peter 1:21)."
I pray these amazing facts increase your faith in the Bible being the inerrant (without any errors) Word of God.

CHILDREN OF GOD

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are!  The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. “  ( 1 John 3:1)

Hope you have become God’s child by believing the only true God and receiving His Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour (John 1:12).

If not yet, call Him in prayer and receive Him.

The Bible Is a Difficult Book

(This is From : Bible Foundation Course Lesson 01-03)

"But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised." (1 Corinthians 2:14)
"The Bible is a difficult Book because it came from the infinite to the finite - from the unlimited, all-powerful God, to limited man. Therefore you cannot understand the Bible as you would understand the writings of Plato or Socrates. You can study the great philosophers with the natural mind, and by diligent application, grasp their profound meanings. If the Bible could be understood by natural man, it would be a natural book, and could not be the Word of God. Since the Bible is from God, and therefore spiritual, before you can receive its teachings, you must be born of the Spirit (John 3:6) and filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Always approach the Bible praying that the Spirit will be your teacher and will guide you to a better understanding of His Holy Word, or it will remain a difficult, closed book (John 16:12-16)."
When you came to believe in Jesus, confessed your sins to Him, asked Him to forgive you, and to become your Savior and Lord, among many other blessings, you became born again of the Spirit, and received the Holy Spirit to be your teacher and guide. Why not take a moment now to thank and praise Father God for all His many blessings, to thank and praise Jesus for making it possible for you to become a child of God, and to thank and praise the Holy Spirit for working in your life.

TO LIVE A PEACEFUL LIFE WE NEED THE FORGIVENESS OF GOD

Sin brings all the problems and suffering in life and death to all. The Bible tells us that we all have sin and need the forgiveness from God.
"There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins." (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
We have done things that are displeasing to God, which makes us deserving of punishment. Since all our sins are ultimately against an eternal God, only an eternal punishment is sufficient.
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." (1John 1:8 )
All sin is ultimately an act of rebellion against God (Psalms 51:4). As a result, we desperately need God’s forgiveness.
If our sins are not forgiven, we will spend eternity suffering the consequences of our sins.
“Then they (sinners)  will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. ” (Matthew 25:46)
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath

THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

(From : Bible Foundation Course Lesson 01-02)
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16)
"All Scripture is inspired by God."  By "inspired" we mean that the Holy Spirit exerted His supernatural influence upon the writers of the Bible. Therefore the Scriptures are God inspired word for word. By this we mean that every word, in the original, is fully and equally inspired in all of its teachings. The Bible does not just contain the Word of God, it is the Word of God.
The writers of the Bible did not write by natural inspiration, or an act of the human will. "Men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God (2 Peter 1:21). David said, "The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me and His word was on my tongue. (2 Samuel 23:2).
 01) The Holy Spirit is the author of the Bible (2 Peter 1:21).
02) Man is the instrument used by the Holy Spirit to write the Bible.
03) Results: The infallible Word of God. Therefore, the Bible is free from error and absolutely trustworthy (Matthew 24:35)."
I pray our Lord uses this Lesson to increase your faith in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God and that it encourages you to spend time finding out what God wants to say to you.

Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”
Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”
So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. (Mark 1:35-39)
Even if Jesus, being the Son of God always pray, we must always pray. Jesus pray in solitary (silent and private) place, we must also take time to pray in private place, where we can pray without any disturbance and with full concentration.

BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD

(From : Bible Foundation Course Lesson 01-01)

Bible is the living word of God. God is the Creator. He created you to be His child. Sin enter  the world and separated us from our Creator God. The result is, this unending problem of life. But God still love us. He wants us to go back to Him and enjoy His blessings. He gives us the way to turn back to Him. Therefore, God gives us Bible to help establish our faith in Him, know His plan for us. He wants us to read the Bible to  understand God’s love for you and His way. By reading the Bible, you will know what God wants you to be and how you can relate with Him.
It is important for all to read the Bible to know God and His saving grace. It is vitally important for a new Christian to start right: and equally important for mature Christians to remain right.
Keep in mind that the Bible is not a book of philosophy, although it is philosophical. Do not go to the Bible for a scientific treatise; however, there is no discrepancy between the ascertained facts of science and the Bible.
The Bible is not a book of history, but is found to be accurate when recording history.
The Bible was given to man from God, revealing Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and God the Son, the only Savior (John 14:6). He is the center and the circumference. It is Christ from Genesis to Revelation (John 5:39).
The Bible is as high above all other books as the heavens are above the earth. Someone has said of the Bible: "Read it to be wise; believe it to be safe; and practice it to be right."
Please read all the lessons in this ‘Bible Foundation Course’ (BFC), I will post here. This is a great lessons, covering all the basic teachings necessary for a Christian, up to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. But  all in short study. If you read all the lessons, it will help you grow in faith. You will be able to teach and share others. It will also greatly help you study further Courses in the Bible.
Read the lessons every day with earnest prayer. Also read your Bible. Save in your computer or print and compile all the lessons so that you can used anytime.  Ask God, in prayer, to give you knowledge, understanding, and wisdom as you read His words here and in the Bible.

JESUS IS COMING AGAIN

God came as a man in His Son Jesus. Jesus was born as an ordinary person. He preached about the Kingdom of God. He performed signs and miracles. He called ordinary persons and trained them up as worthy followers of the Son of God.
Jesus offered His life and died for our sin. God raise Him from the dead. The power of Satan, Sin and  Death couldn’t defeat and hold Him. Instead, He conquered Death, Sin and Satan. He rouse on the third day as He had predicted. He appeared to His disciples and many others and was taken up in Heaven by His Father God. Seated at His right side, God gave Him authority over all heaven and earth.
Jesus will come again to judge all people on earth. He will give eternal to all who believe and received Hin as Lord and Saviour. He will condemn and throw all who rejected Him in an everlasting ‘lake of fire’.
Are you ready to meet Him?

Finding Perfect Spouse

“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?.” 2 Corinthians 6:14
God made us to desire human companionship in the form of a husband or wife. A husband and wife are made to share each others’ lives intimately -- in ways that no-one else should. In a godly relationship, spouses can improve each other, look out for one another, and build each other up in the Lord.
You might think that God has a perfect spouse planned for you. However, as disappointing as it is, no-one can ever be a perfect spouse; “no one is righteous” (Romans 3:10) or perfect. Only Jesus“committed no sin” (1 Peter 2:22).
So what can you look for in a spouse?

Enjoy Your New Life

“Wow, this awesome New Life!
I was really a fool!
Thank God, for this New Life!
Life with You is great, really enjoyable.
I was really a fool, not knowing this secret blessing earlier.”
You will say when you experience the secret of New Life in Jesus Christ.
For this please read :
John the Baptist preached the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. John says,
“‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’” (Mark 1:3b)
“And so …. The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.” (Mark 1:4-5)
After John, Jesus Himself  preached the same subject and all His followers have been preaching and will continue to preach the same till He come again to judge the world.
Therefore, many people of  the world responded the Gospel, confessing their sins, have been baptized and received the forgiveness of sin in Jesus name.
John says about Jesus,
“I baptize you with water, but He (Jesus) will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” (Mark 1:8)
‘Baptize with the Holy Spirit’ include that Jesus will give ‘the Holy Spirit’ to all who receive Him.
When a person received Jesus as Lord and Saviour, God forgive his since and give him His Spirit, the ‘Holy Spirit’. The Holy Spirit guide and help the believer live a new and ‘Godly life’.  The believer steadily turn away from old bad nature and starts a new life with good nature. They started enjoying life by experiencing the blessings of God. No more tension, worry, fear but enjoy life with a hope for living eternally with God even after dead.
Life on earth itself is enjoyable for such ‘saved’ people as Jesus Christ lives with them and help them in every way through the Holy Spirit.
Are you truly enjoying life without fear, worry and tension?
If you have received Jesus Christ, you will surely enjoy life without fear, worry and tension. Because,  the Holy Spirit will give your spirit a peaceful mind.
If not yet, please do not deceive yourself. Do not say in your heart “I have Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives in me. God has forgiven my sin. I am God’s child and will live with Him eternally” when you actually have no inner peace of mind.
Better confess your uncertain condition to God in prayer. Call Jesus. Invite Him to  enter and control your life. Receive Him to be Lord and Saviour of your life. Surrender your life at His will and ask Him to direct your life.
Then, Jesus will come and save from the power of  sin. He will cleans all sins, old bad natures in you and give you a “NEW LIFE’. He will give you the Holy Spirit to guide, teach, help and comfort you.
You will feel a new beginning in your life. You will say
“Fool, I was really a fool!
Thank God. Thank You, Lord for this New Life. Life with You is really great, enjoyable.
I was really a fool, not knowing this secret blessing earlier.
Be always with me. Always lead me in Your way or I will ensnare myself again and will weep again, with despair!
Lord, I thought I know the best for me. But my free will life only led me to ‘mistake, regret after short pleasure and enjoyment.
Please, Lord, don’t ever allow me go my own way. Fully control my life, because You only know the best for me.
You created me. You wants me enjoy Your given life here on earth with Your care and eternal life with You after this earthly life.
Forgive me Lord, for my foolishness.
Thank You Lord for You have already forgiven me and give me this New Life. Please, fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me grow spiritually every day. In Jesus name, Amen.”

God Wants Us To Pray For All

God love all. He wants everybody to come to Him. He wants all who become His children by faith in His Son Jesus Christ, would prayer for others. Therefore, the Apostle Pauls says,
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,  who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.  And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying —and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.
Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. (1 Timothy 1:1-8)

SALVATION IS COMING

God’s angel Gabriel said to Mary, “you have found favor with God.  You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” …..“The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” (Luke 1:30-38)
Friend, Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. He says. “you have found favor with God.  You will conceive and give birth to a Saviour. The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”
What is your response? Will you response like Mary did saying, “May your word to me be fulfilled.”
If so, God will give you the Holy Spirit. Jesus will enter and reign in your heart. He will wash all your sin and all bad natures. God will give you a new heart and a new life. The Holy Spirit will live in you. Then, you will become NEW. You will have NEW NATURE and become ‘A NEW CREATION. All your old nature, old bad habit will be gone and a New Nature, New Habit New Life will be born in you. The Saviour, Jesus Christ will live in you and will show all His Christ nature in you. You will no longer try hard. But Jesus will produce good habit, good manner, good work in you. God will use you for spreading Gospel messages. He will speak through you and do many works. He will make you a ‘source of living water’. Many persons will receive the blessings of God through you in Jesus name.
Call Jesus in prayer .

Christ Our Advocate

The aged Apostle John, instructed us (the young Christians as a father instructed his children):
“ My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.  He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.  Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:  whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” (1 John 2:1-6 ESV)
Therefore, prayerfully read the 1 John to confirm your salvation, to grow in faith and you may not be misguided by different teachings.

CONFIRM YOUR SALVATION

You can confirm your salvation, if you are able to live a good and faithful life in God’s sight and men’s sight. But if you still can not live such life, you are not yet. You still need salvation.

This way you can know if a person is saved. There may also be expert speaker and teachers but not saved. Such a teacher or preacher may any time be able to be used by his adversary to mislead others.

Read,

“………..God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”(1 John 1:5-10)

To be simple : ‘Light’ means ‘Godly, Holy, Good Nature’. ‘darkness’ means ‘ungodly, sin, wrong, filthy’. ‘Fellowship with God’ means ‘New Spiritual, saved life, become children of God’.
If you still can not live Godly life, sin is still controlling your life. If so, call Jesus in prayer. Tell Him your condition. Ask Him to save you and control and direct your life. Receive Him as the Lord and Saviour.
This is because, we are all weak. We can not live Godly life in our strength. When we receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. Then, God gives us the Holy Spirit to help us turn away from our old nature and live a new life in Christ.  Still living old nature means the Holy Spirit not living in us. In such case, you have to call on Jesus Christ.

God Wants Every one To Be Saved

“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:3)
One of the best way to show our love for others is to tell them ‘the Love of God’ - salvation through Jesus Christ . All who believe in Him will have eternal life.
God wants us to tell about this good news as God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4),
So, let’s share the Gospel messages every day and pray for those who can not understand the love of God.

God Can Bless You To Be A Source of Blessing

You may be ordinary person and have no capacity like others. But God can bless your little contribution in cash, kind, sharing a verse of the Bible and your humble prayer if you give and do faithfully.

Read this story :
“A great crowd of people followed Jesus. Jesus asked His disciples to give the people something to eat. His disciples have nothing to give the big crowd. But among the crowd, a boy had five small barley loaves and two small fish. Jesus took the barley bread and the fish, blessed and distributed. All had eaten as much as they could. Then, Jesus asked his disciples to “Gather the pieces that are left over.”
So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.
After the people saw the miracle Jesus performed, they began to believe in Him andsaid, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” (John 6: 1-14)

Therefore, share Bible verses to others, pray for them and help others in your capacity with earnest prayer.

Assurance of Salvation

The Bible teaches that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, not by any good deeds that we do. See Ephesians 2:8,9; John 3:16.

We are saved from condemnation in order to do good works. See Ephesians 2:10. It is very important to see the order in Ephesians 2:8-10: first, we are saved by grace through faith alone, and second, we do good works because we love God. Other major religions of the world teach that one must do good works to move toward God. Christianity teaches that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was sufficient for people to receive eternal life with God. Life with God is a free gift to all who believe.

Faith that leads to salvation is much more than simply believing that Jesus is the Son of God—even the demons understand that Jesus is the Son of God. Saving faith is not merely intellectual understanding; it involves a change of heart. Saving faith involves a commitment to receive Jesus as Lord of our lives—it is trusting Jesus to give us life. Saving faith results in a change in our lifestyle—we turn from sinful ways and follow Christ.

The first letter of John teaches that we can know that we have received eternal life. See 1 John 5:13. If you have doubts about your salvation, study 1 John. The scriptures give sufficient proof of salvation to anyone who is truly seeking to follow God.

Grow in Your Faith

If you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, you are now born-again Christian. God wants you to grow quickly in faith so that you may fully enjoy His blessings in Jesus name. The Apostle Paul says,
“God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love - like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do.” (Ephesians 4:15)
Pray and talk with God. Commit your life to God’s leading. Ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit and bring growth to your faith and life.

Knowing Why

Knowing Why

By Rosemary Cross

Do you struggle with situations, hard situations, that you don't understand? Do you ever wonder why God doesn't just take care of things — or at least explain what's going on?

At the Last Supper Jesus performed the most menial of tasks, that of washing the feet of his disciples, a task that would normally be performed by a servant. Peter wanted know why He was doing this and Jesus' answer was "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." (John 13 verse 7). He knew that with his human mind Peter would not be able to understand the answer, but that when he had joined Him in heaven, then all would be made clear to him. It is the same with us today. Just as an earthly father, on being asked by his three-year-old son how an aeroplane stays up in the sky, has to say to him "you will understand when you are older", so God cannot always explain the things that we would like to know.

When it is possible for us to understand, God is always happy to explain to us why a situation has occurred. However, even then it is not possible for us to understand fully what is in the mind of God for, as the prophet Isaiah says (Isaiah 55 verses 8 and 9), "My thoughts are far beyond your thoughts, and my ways past understanding. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways far beyond your ways."

The Apostle Paul also knew this, and says in his letter to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 13 verse 12) "Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then [meaning when we die and go to heaven] we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely."

God is our heavenly Father and He loves each one of us more dearly than we can ever know. He loves to walk and talk with us and to help us to understand what is going on in our lives, so far as our limited human minds can understand what He is saying to us. That is why, when it was time for Jesus to leave the earth and go to during his Father in heaven, God sent His Holy Spirit to be with us in His place (1 Thessalonians 4 verse 8b).

Have you ever thought deeply about this most wonderful and amazing Holy Spirit of God? He is the means by which God guides our prayers, helps us to understand, and reflects Jesus back to us as a model of what we should be in our Christian walk. He also is the bridge by which we communicate with God and He with us. The Holy Spirit is always with each one of us, hovering at our shoulders as it were, but He longs for a more intimate relationship with us than that. What He wants is to actually dwell within us alongside our human spirits (John 14 verses 15-17) so that we can be more sensitive to his nudges and His still, small voice when He wants to guide and direct us (Psalm 32 verse 8). Notice that in the last part of verse 17 Jesus says "He lives with you and will be IN you." However, being the perfect gentleman, the Holy Spirit will never gatecrash. He will only come and dwell within you, alongside your own human spirit, when He is expressly invited to do so.

May I suggest that you find a quiet moment in a quiet corner and give Him this invitation? You will be amazed at what will happen if you do. For a start, you will begin to find that you are being given glimpses of light on situations in your life that puzzle and worry you, or alternatively, you will find yourself becoming content simply to leave them in God's hands for an explanation later on, either in this life or the next. Also, like the true friend and wholly trustworthy guide that He is, the Holy Spirit will also begin to show you where you are going wrong in your life and how to put things right, give you the strength to overcome the temptation to sin, and most importantly of all, He will start showing you how to see situations as God sees them and how to start building a personal relationship with Him. As this happens you will find your whole life being transformed as you learn to walk more and more closely with God with every day that passes.
