God loves you and me. He wants to bless
us so that we live a peaceful life to glorify Him. But He cannot bless any of
us as long as we do not go near Him.
To receive His blessings, we must
approach Him.We must be in His love and obey Him. We need to "listen carefully to the voice of the
Lord your God and do what is right in His sight" (Exodus 15:26).
We
learn from the stories of His people in the Bible that God blessed them when
they did what was right, and God corrected them when they did what was wrong.
He also wants to behave righteously and not to hurt someone or treat them
unjustly. Once we realize we have done something wrong, we need to repent and
ask forgiveness.
Again,
we should follow God's command to "honor
your father and mother" (Deuteronomy 5:16) and "to do what is right,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8).

don’t be a fool! Don’t be deceived!
You
can never please God without having His dearest only Son Jesus Christ with you.
I
am the youngest and dearest son of a missionary evangelist. I have tried my
best to please God since my childhood. But in vain! I had studied almost all
the Bible and related books of my father in my childhood up to my teen age. I
had read Bible from Genesis to Revelation three times and spent my youth as
much time as possible in Church and youth group. But in no time, after having
my last son admitted in school, having free enough times, I became a lost
Christian for seven years.
The
grace of God is far reaching. The God of Love (1 John 4:8) in Jesus caught me
in my legs and make me turn back to acknowledge my inborn sin. He opened my
mind and eye. Then, I saw all my sin and my doom. That made me call my only
Saviour Jesus Christ. I called Him day and night to save me from the present
and eternal damnation.
Jesus
is Lord. Jesus is God. God is Love (1 John 4:8). Jesus died to save me from
eternal damnation. He answer my prayer and give me the forgiveness of God and
New Life in Christ. Since then He live in me in the Holy Spirit and always save
me from the power of sin. I no longer need any of my strength to stand against
temptation and to exert my strength to do anything to please God. The Holy
Spirit work in me and turn me to please God in the image (shadow) of my Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. I only need to call Jesus name. The name ‘Jesus’
itself is ‘Power’ for me. The silent sound I call ‘Jesus’ banish all the forces
of evil.
Friends
in Jesus, call Jesus in prayer.
"Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so
that your sins may be wiped away" (Acts 3:19).
"if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness" (1
John 1:9).
In prayer, confessed that you will die without Him eternally because of
your sin. Invited Him to come in your life and to save you from the power of
sin. Repeatedly asked Him to give you the benefit and fruit of His death on the
Cross for the forgiveness of your sin and all who believe in Him. Claimed that you
believe in Him and received Him to be your Saviour and the Lord and King of your
life. Offer the care and control of your life in His hand. Asked Him to direct your
life and guide you to please Him. Claimed that He promised in the Bible to
forgive all who believe in Him and give the Holy Spirit as a Helper, Guide,
Teacher and Comforter. Asked Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit that you may
please the Father God.
Then, Jesus will come and saved you from the power of sin. He will transforms
you life and helps you live a new life in Christ. Though you may be behind
godly people and others may not notice your new life you will soon find
yourself the transformed life Jesus cause in you. You will experience eternal
joy and happiness in your deepest heart and live a happy life.
