Jesus lived on earth 2,000 years ago and He was
fully God and fully man.
Colossians 2:9 says: “ For
in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in
Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power
and authority.”
Jesus was God so He was
sinless. He was the only man who could die for us, because the rest of
humanity--including Mary--has sinned. Romans 3:23 reads: “for all have
sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Mary was a good woman, but
only a human being. You are equal with Mary if you hear God's word and
put it into practice. Luke 8:19-21 reads:
“ Now Jesus’ mother and
brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the
crowd. Someone told him, “Your mother and
brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.” He
replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it
into practice.”
Therefore, thank Jesus Christ, who, being the Son
of God love you as His brother or sister. Love Him by obeying Him in every way.
