FREEDOM LIFE IN CHRIST

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)
Please, do not deceive yourself. Do not try to deceive your own soul. Do not pretend to have found and enjoy true peace of mind and blessedness of God. Because, you are sure to receive the punishment of your own action. Instead, believe and accept the truth. Face the problem and seek the help of the only true God.
Remember, since the fall of man in the hand of sin (Satan), every human being become under the control ( and salve) of sin. No man can free himself from the power of sin. Therefore, God sent His Son Jesus to set us free from the slavery of sin.
Under the powerful control of sin, man suffer great misery on earth. Every right thinking people started believing there must be God and started seeking God. As a result, many great persons claimed of finding some ‘WAY’ to get freedom ( or at least relief) from the power of sin by following the ‘way’ they claimed to have found. They called their found way ‘RELIGION’ with some set of RULES or LAWS (rites).
Unfortunately, such ‘RELIGION or RITES could not give them the desired FREEDOM from the power of sin. Instead, all such ‘religions’ enslave them with their own ‘religious  rites’. Moreover, their ‘religion and rites’ stand in their way to God. They stop seeking God by observing or following their own religious rites and fail to meet the true God.
God love His created human beings because ‘God is Love’ (1 John 4:8). Out of love, God made a plan to save all people of the world. In His plan, He sent His Son (Jesus) to this world, to die in place of the people of the world, as living sacrifice in an alter. All who believe in Jesus and His sacrificial work will become saved ( set free) from the power of sin.
‘Jesus’ means ‘Saviour’ (Matt. 1:21) He sacrificed His life and died on the cross and fulfilled the plan of God, written in the Scripture. Jesus died but the power of sin and death could not detained Him. Jesus is the Son of God or God the Son. Death is the ultimate power of sin. Death is the result of sin.
Jesus died as man but death (the power of sin) could not hold Him. He rouse again from the dead on the third day as written in the Scripture and as He had told His followers when He was alive on earth. Jesus becomes a ‘Living Christ’. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Father God in heaven has given Him all authority on earth and in heaven. He reigns for eternity. He will judge all people on earth.
Jesus in the only way to the only true God, as God Himself ordained Him.
No religion, no religious rite will set you free (save) from the power of sin. The only way is Jesus.
 When one believe in Jesus and received Him for Lord of his live, the believer become free from sin. Jesus become his King (Christ) and ruled in his life.

Do Not Be Anxious

Our Lord Jesus tells His followers - 
 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?  And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?  Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:26-34)
May God help you through the Holy Spirit that you may follow the teachings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and live a worthy life to be called God’s child.

Importance of Christian Fellowship

In order to understand the importance of Christian fellowship, we must first understand what Christian fellowship is and what it isn't. The Greek words translated "fellowship" in the New Testament mean essentially a partnership to the mutual benefit of those involved. Christian fellowship, then, is the mutually beneficial relationship between Christians, who can't have the identical relationship with those outside the faith.

 The mystery and privilege that is Christian fellowship is that it exists because God has enabled it by His grace. Those who believe the gospel are united in the Spirit through Christ to the Father, and that unity is the basis of fellowship. This relationship is described by Jesus in His high-priestly prayer for His followers: "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me" (John 17:23). The "complete unity" He refers to is the oneness that Christians experience in true fellowship, oneness with one another, with Christ and with the Father. Just as the Father is in Jesus, so is Jesus in us, and we have unity with one another because of the uniqueness of that relationship (1 John 1:3).

Great is God’s Faithfulness


God’s faithfulness gives us confidence.

Scripture:“My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!” Psalm 108:1
Faithfulness is defined as: “constant; true to one’s word or promise”. This defines Our God! “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; My God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” Psalm 18:2
A Firm Foundation
“Who but our God is a solid rock?” (Psalm 18:31). God has not changed. In a world where everything is rapidly and constantly changing, God is like a solid, unchanging rock that we can stand on. God’s word is true and we can count on it because it is based in His faithful character. “The grass withers and the flowers fade but the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:8God does not make mistakes or change his mind. He is not swayed by public opinion. God is a firm foundation.

CONQUER TEMPTATION WITH THE BIBLE AND PRAYER

The words come out of God is powerful. When He said in the beginning of creation, “Let there be Light”, there was Light. And almost all created being come into existence as God commanded.
Therefore, the Psalmist says, "the Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. ... When He spoke, the world began! It appeared at His command" (Psalm 33:6, 9).
JESUS USE THE WORD OF THE BIBLE :
When Satan tempted, Jesus Himself used the words from the Scripture to win over His adversary.
Jesus told him, "The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" ( Matthew 4:4 )
Jesus responded, "The Scriptures also say, 'You must not test the Lord your God.'" (Matthew 4:7) 
"Get out of here, Satan," Jesus told him. "For the Scriptures say, 'You must worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.'"( Matthew 4:10)

YOU CAN BECOME GOD’S CHILD


God loves you. He created everything in the universe.  He created man and woman to rule over the earth under His care. But man violates God’s law and can no longer receive the true help of God. Violation of God’s law is called ‘sin’ in the word of God’.
Therefore, according to the word of God, man sin against God. Man is sinner.
God is Holy and perfect. Man is sinner and fall short of God’s glory. As such, man can no longer have relationship with God. Hence, man can no longer receive the true help and true blessings of God, the creator.
In order to relate with God and receive His help and blessings, the relationship of man with God must be restored as was in the beginning. This is possible now and there is only one way – you must become God’s child.
God love all the people of the world. He wants to make us His children. Therefore, He sent His only Son, Jesus to do all necessary work we are require to do in order to become God’s children.
Jesus became man and lived on earth two thousand years ago among men and women in this world, in the land of Palestine. He taught the people about the Kingdom of God and Heaven, how to become God’s child and enter the Kingdom of God and heaven, and how to become God’s child.
Jesus was crucified on the cross like criminal and died. This was God’s plan to save us from eternal condemnation, eternal punishment in hell which is called ‘the second death’.
Jesus died in our place or on behalf of all of us. But to receive the benefit of His death, one must believe that He (Jesus) died in his place to save him (believer).
Jesus is the Son of God. He cannot die for ever. God raised Him (Jesus) again from the dead and is living for ever as the Spirit. God gave Him all authority on earth and heaven.
In His authority, Jesus will come again for the second time to bring believers to be with Him in heaven and to punish all who does not believe in Him.
Thus, Jesus has done all necessary task we have to become God’s child. We have no other task to do to be ‘saved’ or have ‘salvation’.
In the word of God ( the Bible), restoring the already relationship with God is also known as ‘Salvation’, when one become God’s child, he is ‘saved’ from the eternal punishment of God.
The only one we must do is ‘to believe in Him that Jesus is the Son of God and died for us.

How to Receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit


KEY VERSE :  Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off —for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. (Acts 2:38-41)
This is the instructions of Apostle Peter how one can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God Must Be Heard 
First, the Word of God must be heard. Peter has preached that in God’s plan Jesus was crucified, raised, and exalted as Lord over all the universe and that forgiveness of sin and spiritual renewal can be had from him. The Word has been heard.

ON PENTECOST

More than 2000 years ago, Jesus of Nazareth promised to His Disciple Peter that He would founded His CHURCH on Peter ( better understand ‘by using Peter’). His disciples did not understand what Jesus means.
One day, this Jesus, told His disciples ( in simple version)  “you will not understand all things I am telling you. But you will understand when the Helper come.”
“This Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father ( God in Heaven) send to you in my name  ( in Jesus place) will make you understand all this I told you. He will tell you all the truth about me”.
 “I am going away soon.  But I will not leave you like an orphan. I will come to you again to help you. I will send the TRUE HELPER when I go away. And it is good that I go away so that the TRUE HELPER come to you in my place. If I do not go away, the Helper will not come. But if I go away, the Helper will come to you and he will be with you for ever”.
His disciples could not understand what Jesus was telling them. Jesus, actually, was telling them that he will die but will send the Holy Spirit to help them. He also told them three times that He would die but will rise again on the third day.
Jesus’ prediction came true. He died but was raised from the dead on the third day. He appeared to His disciples and others and lived with them for forty days on earth again. Then, He left them, instructing them to stay at Jerusalem till Pentecost. He means to say that the Holy Spirit will come on Pentecost. As such, His disciples and other followers stayed at Jerusalem, waiting the promised of the Lord Jesus.

God is Infinite and Eternal Being :


 "The Bible reveals God as the only Infinite and Eternal Being, having no beginning and no ending. He is Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is the Supreme Personal Intelligence, and Righteous Ruler of His universe. He is life, and therefore, the only source of life. (John 5:26)
 Man is natural and cannot know God by wisdom. "Can you discover the depths of God?" (Job 11:7)  God is a person and can be known only by revelation. In the Old Testament He revealed Himself to and through His prophets. In the New Testament He reveals Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1:3)"
 The better we come to know God, the deeper our love grows; the deeper our love grows, the more we want to live lives pleasing to Him; the more we want to please Him, the easier it becomes to obey the teaching and commandments of Jesus.

The Word of life

 We declare this to you about the Word of life. The Word existed before the world began. This is what we have heard. We have seen it with our eyes. We watched it. We touched it with our hands. This is about the Word of life. The person who gives life came. He showed this life to us. We saw it and we are witnesses to it. We declare to you that this is *eternal life. It was with the Father. It has now appeared to us. This is what we saw. This is what we heard. We declare it to you also. We want you to share in this life together with us. It really has united us with the Father and with his son Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that our joy may be complete. (1 John 1:1-4)

Corruption spread like Flu, infectious diseases


 God is Holy, lives in Holy place, not in corrupt body - live a holy live to get God’s help
Corruption spread like Flu, spread in air. It is also like infectious diseases. If one work in a corrupt practice place, he may also be infected, he may be made involve. It is as dangerous as contagious diseases. If the big boss is corrupt his lower worker may get involve as the bribe givers are very expert. They set such a trap that inexperience person will never know it was bribery. They will offer you saying “This is for your cup of tea”. The second time bigger. Third time you are trapped.
In Christian life, it is the most condemnable. Not only in corruption of money and power, corruption in character is the most dreaded, which spread like wave. It kills character, body and soul. It damaged image, prestige, unworthy to be called Christian.

SALVATION IS ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST


Salvation, as understood in the Old Testament, is only through Yahweh. Other religions do not save. The gods are powerless. In the Old Testament terms, the question whether there is salvation in other religion is, according to Goldingway and Wright, a non-question: “There is salvation in no religion because religions don’t save”. Israel was saved by Yahweh, not by religion. Religions may offer many good starting points, but they are not adequate as finishing points. “There is no salvation in them, not because they are somehow inferior as religions to the religion of Christianity, but because they are not witnesses to the deeds of the God who saves”. Love Verses in the Bible


Read these verses from the Bible about love in relation to God, Jesus Christ, and the Christian and be blessed -
 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:10)
 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
  Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. (Romans 12:9)

Have assurance of salvation


 “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:11-13)
All who believed in the Son of God (Jesus Christ),received and accepted Him (John 1:12) as Lord and Saviour become the children of God. If you have Jesus, you have life. Not temporary life, but eternal.
God wants us to have assurance of our salvation. We cannot live our Christian lives wondering and worrying each day whether or not we are truly saved. That is why the Bible makes the plan of salvation so clear. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved (John 3:16; Acts 16:31).
If you believe that Jesus is the Saviour, that He died to pay the penalty for your sins, you are saved (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21)?

BELIEVERS ARE JESUS BROTHERS AND SISTERS


Jesus lived on earth 2,000 years ago and He was fully God and fully man. 
Colossians 2:9 says: “  For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”
 Jesus was God so He was sinless.  He was the only man who could die for us, because the rest of humanity--including Mary--has sinned.  Romans 3:23 reads: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
 Mary was a good woman, but only a human being.  You are equal with Mary if you hear God's word and put it into practice.  Luke 8:19-21 reads:
 “ Now Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd.  Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.”  He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”
Therefore, thank Jesus Christ, who, being the Son of God love you as His brother or sister. Love Him by obeying Him in every way.

YOU CAN BE HEALED ETERNALLY

                                                         
One day, while Jesus was preaching in a house, some men brought one paralytic man. “Seeing their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” (Read Mark 2:1-12)
In not healing the man first, effectively Jesus is saying sin is a greater problem than this man’s paralysis. Why? To understand the answer, we need to understand why sin is such a bad problem according to Jesus. The word sin in this passage literally means to miss the mark—the mark of God’s perfect standards. Imagine an arrow moving in the air and falling short of a target. That’s what sin is like, and all of us fall short of God’s perfect standards all the time. The consequence of sin is eternal separation from God, and this is what the Bible calls Hell.

DOING GOOD TO ALL :

 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

Jesus came from God to show us real life

The *Lord Jesus came from God. He became a real man. He showed us what real life is. Real life is life in the spirit. He has that life and he came to give it to us. This is *eternal life. God gives it to those who believe in his Son.
John was a witness to this life. The life was with the *Father. Jesus showed that life to us. John and those who believed in the *Lord Jesus saw this real life. They had received it. They proved that the message is true.

WAY TO GOD FOR YOU IS OPEN NOW


God is Holy. No man can please the Holy God. Because man is unable to obey all the commands of God. Disobedience to our Creator God is ‘sin’.  
Sin separates us from God. To relate with God again, man needs his ‘sin purified’ first. This is also called “his/man’s debt”. But man is unable to pay any part of his sin debt. In other word, man is unable to "make purification" to his sin.
Therefore, Jesus came in the flesh, suffer, die, be buried, and raised from the dead and has paid our sin debt.  And he has opened ways to God. All who believe in Him become God’s child and will go to God in heaven after dead.
Jesus has opened 'Way to God for you and all now'.
The  Bible sates that the sacrifice of Jesus  was sufficient payment for our sin debt. Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sins, PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE — IN FULL.
The Bible says, "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."(John 19:30). 
Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient; that nothing else is necessary to pay the debt we all owe for our sin, yet cannot pay ourselves.
 "By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."( Hebrews 10:10)

A Christian is a New Creation in Christ


 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”( 2 Corinthians 5:17)
When one believed and received Jesus Christ for his personal Lord and Saviour, God accept him for His child. God forgive all the believer’s sin and makes him a New Creation. All his all natures – old bad behaviour, bad characters, bad habits and all his old natures have been done away. God give him a good new  behaviour, characters, habits and good natures and new way of life. God give him the Holy Spirit who lead the new believer live  a growing Christ like life.
God counted the old nature died with Jesus on the Cross and buried in the grave but raised him up with the risen Christ to live a new life in Christ and “walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).
Hope you have already died with Jesus and raised up by God with Christ. If so, live a New Life in Christ.

ENJOY THE LOVE OF GOD

God loves you and me. He wants to bless us so that we live a peaceful life to glorify Him. But He cannot bless any of us as long as we do not go near Him.
To receive His blessings, we must approach Him.We must be in His love and obey Him. We need to "listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight" (Exodus 15:26).
We learn from the stories of His people in the Bible that God blessed them when they did what was right, and God corrected them when they did what was wrong. He also wants to behave righteously and not to hurt someone or treat them unjustly. Once we realize we have done something wrong, we need to repent and ask forgiveness.
Again, we should follow God's command to "honor your father and mother" (Deuteronomy 5:16) and "to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8). 
Hey,………… don’t be a fool!  Don’t be deceived!
You can never please God without having His dearest only Son Jesus Christ with you.

DO NOT WORRY BUT TRUST IN THE LORD


There are many temptations in everyday life. But “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Only those who do not have the spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) can not bear not fall into temptation. Because,  “Every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. . . . You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”( 1 John 4:3-4)
If you have already received Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is in you. Therefore, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. . . . so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. . . .

 (5) give you inner peace and joy, because you have no fear of the future,
 (6) give you confidence for every challenge which you face, because you know that God's hand in upon your life for good,
 (7) help you to understand the heart of God and to view him as your heavenly Father who is always wanting to guide your life, to cleanse your way from all sin, and to keep you from falling, and (8) give you a living and real hope of life beyond the grave, knowing that your eternal life already began when you first trusted your life into His hands through faith in Jesus Christ.

God Guides Us Through His Word


 “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
We all long for direction and purpose in life.  The best is to study God’s word in the Bible and ask the Lord in prayer to guide us. God wants us faithfully seek His help.  His guidance begins with our minds and hearts.
The Lord says, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10)
To get God’s guidance, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2).

Always pray, saying : “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!” (Psalm 139:23).

Seek the Lord and ask His help in your weakness. “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. (James 1:5)

THE LIVING WORD OF GOD


Bible is the living word of God. God is the Creator. He created you to be His child. Sin enter  the world and separated us from our Creator God. The result is, this unending problem of life. But God still love us. He wants us to go back to Him and enjoy His blessings. He gives us the way to turn back to Him. Therefore, God gives us Bible to help establish our faith in Him, know His plan for us. He wants us to read the Bible to  understand God’s love for you and His way. By reading the Bible, you will know what God wants you to be and how you can relate with Him.
It is important for all to read the Bible to know God and His saving grace. It is vitally important for a new Christian to start right: and equally important for mature Christians to remain right.
Keep in mind that the Bible is not a book of philosophy, although it is philosophical. Do not go to the Bible for a scientific treatise; however, there is no discrepancy between the ascertained facts of science and the Bible.

Seeing the Unseen


The young man was attending Harvard University but decided to drop out. Why would he do that? Why drop out of such a prestigious institution? Was he getting bad grades? Did he hate classes? No, his grades were okay, and he liked school just fine. But he left because he saw something most of his classmates didn't see. He saw something bigger and better than a Harvard diploma. He saw a future involving computers, and he saw an opportunity to provide the operating software. But he had to act right away. If he waited till after graduation, his chance might be gone. So Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard, co-founded Microsoft, and became a gazillionaire, with more money than all his Harvard classmates combined. Bill Gates saw something that was unseen by most other people, and he reaped the rewards.
Now, when someone drops out of college to make piles of money, we might admire and even envy him. But what if someone has already graduated from the most elite school and has access to the wealth of an entire nation but then turns his back on it all and becomes a penniless nobody? If he says he did it because he saw the unseen, we might think his vision failed him. When someone like Bill Gates gets rich by seeing the unseen, we're impressed. But if someone becomes poor after seeing the unseen, we might think he's crazy. But that's exactly what Moses did.
Moses had it all, or so it seemed. He had been adopted into the royal family of Egypt. As a member of Egypt's elite, he had a superb education, he had the power to do anything he wanted, and the money to buy anything his heart desired. But he gave it all up. He refused to be known as a prince and instead identified himself with slaves. Why? Because he saw the unseen.
Moses and Bill Gates had something in common: both saw something others didn't see, and both acted accordingly. But Gates and Moses were also different: Gates got rich; Moses became poor. Gates ran a giant corporation; Moses ran for his life. Gates built a palace overlooking the sea; Moses left his palace for a tent in a desert. In both cases, seeing the unseen was the key, but Moses saw more. He didn't just see a way to get rich for the next few decades; he saw rewards that last forever. He didn't just see a chance to get ahead in life; he saw the living God.
