Proclamations of Faith

From The Good News by David A. DePra

Faith in God never wavers because it knows God never wavers.
Faith is not an intellectual or emotional issue. It is a moral issue.
What I believe is directly related to the conditional of my heart.
Faith, in the Bible, is never a matter of ability to believe. It is a matter of openness to God.
I cannot believe God unless I fully yield myself to Him.
Faith without surrender is exactly what it means to have faith without works.
Faith must be tried or it will be remain nothing more than assent to Truth.
God never tells me to win the victory. He tells me to stand in the victory which Christ has already won.

BE BLESSED WITH WISDOM

“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.”(Proverbs 3:13-14)

“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.”(Proverbs 3:13-14)

She (wisdom) is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.”
Long life is in her(wisdom’s)  right hand; in her(wisdom’s) left hand are riches and honor.”
Her(wisdom’s) ways are pleasant ways, and all her(wisdom’s)   paths are peace.”
She(wisdom)  is a tree of life to those who take hold of her(wisdom’s) ;those who hold her(wisdom’s) fast will be blessed.” (Proverbs 3:15-18)
“By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. ”(Proverbs 3:19-20)
“My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion;  they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck.
Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; hen you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.”(Proverbs 3:21-26)

GOD LOVES YOU

The Bible says :
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16)
“For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” ( John 3:17).
“He that believes in Him is not condemned; but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” ( John 3:18)
God loves us so much that He gave us His beloved Son Jesus Christ to save us from eternal condemnation. But one must believe in Him (Jesus Christ), accepted Him as Lord and Saviour personally, to have His Salvation.
Secondly, anyone who does not believe in Him is condemned already and will be condemned eternally, why?  Because, he does not believes in the Son of God.

SINNER CANNOT CLEANSE SIN

SINNER CANNOT CLEANSE SIN, OUR SINS ARE CLEANS BY SINLESS JESUS CHRIST, HALLELUIYAH,AMEN
Jesus lived a sinless life (without sin- please ignore grammar). He was tempted as He was man like us. But He overcame sin because was the Son of God. He became so popular among the people. His follower increased daily. The religious leaders were jelous of His popularity and wanted to killed Him but were afraid of the people. They, therefore, tried to find His fault but could not find any fault in Him. Lastly, they acussed Him of blasphemy because He (Jesus) said Himself as ‘the Son of God’. His enemies crucified Him on the cross.
Read John 1:12 and 3:16.  God sent His Son Jesus Christ that whoever believe in Him may become the ‘children of God.’ Mark ‘ the Son of God’ to ‘children of God’.
Jesus died only because He was ‘the Son of God’.
The ‘Son of God’, Jesus Christ died on the cross to make us the ‘children of God’.  Halleluiyah, Amen.

May God bless you abundantly as His dear child and help you bring unbeliever become true believer.

We Are New Creations in Christ

God’s word, the Bible says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
When we received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, God forgive our sin and makes us ‘new creation’. We have new life, not in our strength but given by God. I invited Jesus and He saved my health  and life and changed me. Many persons praise me, but I always say, “Jesus saved me”. I did nothing to change my life. I confined at home for some weeks. But, I have to work and earn. So, I went out and found the change in me. When I met old friends they say “you become so changed” and they treated me in a changed manner, though I did not tell them any. I saw with my eyes what I used to take much interest, my heart no more saw, my hands no longer stretched out to reach. I found out the changes in me. Old friends left and new friends come. Within a few months, I totally believed my Lord and Saviour is working in me and fear vanish. Jesus changed my environment and is changing me. I believe He will continue to change me and will one day totally transformed me to be with Him eternally. To understand what I say, please read Ephesians 2:1-10:
“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,  in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler(Satan) of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.  All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath(of God).  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions —it is by grace you have been saved.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,  in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—  not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:1-10)
In old nature we could not understand the things of the spirit as it was spiritually dead, “dead in our transgressions and sins”.  God gives us a completely new nature when we received His Son Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Our old nature was dead and raised with Jesus and gives us this new life. Then, God gives us the Holy Spirit, who lives in us and helps us “to walk in newness of life” with Christ(Romans 6:4).
Praise the Lord.
Remember, our old nature still is working in us but could no longer control us as Jesus always help us. (I will post about this later)
Hope you have become a truly ‘new creation’ in Christ, by having invite Him into your life and received Him. Read the Bible daily and always pray so that you may grow in faith. Also pray for those who are still in old sinful life. Tell them about Jesus and His saving grace. Bring them to Christ. But if you still have not yet received, please call on Jesus Christ now. If you need guidance, send me message.

LOVE LETTER OF GOD FOR US

( From my article 'BIBLE STUDY IN A JOURNALIST’S STYLE ' June 17,2013)

God loves us so much that He sends a ‘Love Letters’ to us and request us to be His beloved partner for eternity. But those who had written down in human languages recorded these ‘Love Letters’ as ‘Gospel’, ‘Testament’, ‘Letters’, etc. and some translated as ‘Laws’, ‘Commandments’, ‘Covenant’, ‘GoodNews’, ‘Good Words’, etc. The compilers bounded together all these ‘Love Letters of God for Us’ in a big volume book and called it ‘The Bible’.
Earlier, I had considered it a burden to read the Bible that it would expose my guilt and short-comings. I was afraid that it would command me to do difficult works, follow hard and fast rules.
But, after Jesus transformed me, I find all these ( books of the Bible) are nothing but ‘Love Letters of God to us’ as the purpose of all these Letters are the same and one in all – ‘To be in Love with God so that we may have the blessings of God and have a good, joyous, comfort, successful, blessed life here on earth with the help of God in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit and live with God for ever after we die a physical dead’. Since then, I study the Bible daily with enjoyment and find helpful guide every time I read.
Consider what the Bible says, “ He gives the right to become the children of God” (John 1:12), “For God so loved the world” (John 3:16), “I will be with you” (Matthew 28:20), “God is Love”(1 John 4:4) and all through the pages the love of God is written in the Bible.
If you ever consider the Bible as a binding commandment or order or Law, you will never enjoy to read but will read only as a compulsion even if you read. Instead, study the Bible to find out how much God loves you and how to get the Love of God and receive the blessing of God. This is the fact that God inspired the writers to write down how we can become God’s children that we may receive the unending blessing of God when we become His dear children – not only here on earth or after dead as some think. Rather, by becoming God’s child, you will receive the blessings of God as soon as you become His child and continue to receive while living here on earth and to the fullest in Heaven after dead.
So, I request you to pick up the Bible as a ‘Love Letter from the One who Love you Most’ and study it prayerfully with an aim to find out –
i)How God Loves you,
ii) How to be in love with God,
iii) How you can be God’s child,
iV) How you can receive the blessings of God as His child and have a good, joyous, comfort, successful, blessed life here on earth with the help of God in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit and live with God for ever after we die a physical dead’.
Please pray with this prayer with me :
“Lord, I am a sinner, only to die in sin. I thank You for loving me so much and saved me from eternal condemnation by dying on the cross. You are my Lord and Saviour.
Lord, bless me with all the blessings I need to live a good, successful, joyous, blessed life and a worthy life as Your child. Control and direct my life. Give me the promised helper, the Holy Spirit, to help, guide, teach and comfort me and use me to glorify you. I pray in Your name, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus, Amen.”

ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU THE BEST

When we received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, God accepted us as His adopted child. When we become God’s child through Jesus Christ, we must live life worthy to be called ‘the children of God’ (John 1:12)
Jesus knows our weakness as human being. Jesus once said “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41a).
Jesus, therefore, promised that God will send the Holy Spirit to help us live a Godly life. He says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” ” (Acts 1:8)
Jesus wants that we ask for the Holy Spirit, when He says :  “….your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11 :13b)
Therefore, always pray and ask God to give you the Holy Spirit to help you everyday and in every situation, live a Godly life worthy to be called God’s child.

God So Loved The World

From step 1 of 4-step to peace by By BGEA : PeaceWithGod.net

Does God love me?
God loves you, and He loves you with a love that you don’t even know anything about, because there is no human love comparable to divine love.
God loves you. He wants to forgive you. He wants to have fellowship with you.
It doesn’t make any difference how far you tried to run from God. He loves you. His eye is on you. He sees you.
God created us in his image, and you as a person are important to God.
“God created mankind in His image.” − Genesis 1:27
The Bible says that God has the hairs of your head numbered. Every moment of your life is watched by God.
“Indeed, the very hairs of head are all numbered.” − Luke 12:7
God is listening, and God loves you. He’s your friend. He’ll put His arm around you, and He understands, and He answers, and He’s sympathetic to your problem.
God loves you, and the Bible says that God sent His Son from heaven to this earth for you. Jesus Christ came to this earth to take your sins upon a cross.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” − John: 3:16
He would’ve died had you been the only person in the whole world. He loves you. Don’t ever forget He loves, loves, loves, loves you.
“God is love.” − 1 John 4:16
When Jesus Christ was nailed to that cross, He did that for you. That’s how much He loves us.
The Bible says, “I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever!
God loves you, and God has a plan for your life.

Who am I in Christ

According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” There are two Greek words which are translated “new” in the Bible. The first, neos, refers to something that has just been made, but there are already many others in existence just like it. The word translated “new” in this verse is the word kainos, which means “something just made which is unlike anything else in existence.” In Christ, we are made an entirely new creation, just as God created the heavens and the earth originally—He made them out of nothing, and so He does with us. He does not merely clean up our old selves; He makes an entirely new self. When we are in Christ, we are “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4 KJV). God Himself, in the person of His Holy Spirit, takes up residence in our hearts. We are in Christ and He is in us.

TO LIVE A GOOD LIFE WE NEED THE FORGIVENESS OF GOD

Sin brings all the problems and suffering in life and death to all. The Bible tells us that we all have sin and need the forgiveness from God.
"There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins." (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
We have done things that are displeasing to God, which makes us deserving of punishment. Since all our sins are ultimately against an eternal God, only an eternal punishment is sufficient.
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." (1John 1:8 )
All sin is ultimately an act of rebellion against God (Psalms 51:4). As a result, we desperately need God’s forgiveness.
If our sins are not forgiven, we will spend eternity suffering the consequences of our sins.
“Then they (sinners)  will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. ” (Matthew 25:46)
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” (John 3:36).

Because of Your Unbelief

( From ‘Divine Healing  by Andrew Murray  Chapter 2)
“Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you~~ (Matt. 17:19, 20).
When the Lord Jesus sent His disciples into different parts of Palestine, He endued them with a double power, that of casting out unclean spirits and that of healing all sickness and all infirmity (Matt. 10:1). He did the same for the seventy who came back to Him with joy, saying, “Lord, even the spirits are subject unto us through thy name” (Luke 10:17).On the day of the Transfiguration, while the Lord was still upon the mountain, a father brought his son who was possessed with a demon, to His disciples, beseeching them to cast out the evil spirit, but they could not. When, after Jesus had cured the child, the disciples asked Him why they had been unable to do it themselves as in other cases, He answered them,“because of your unbelief.” It was, then, their unbelief, and not the will of God which had been the cause of their defeat.
In our days divine healing is very little believed in, because it has almost entirely disappeared from the Christian Church. One may ask the reason, and here are the two answers which have been given. The greater number think that miracles, the gift of healing included, should be limited to the time of the primitive Church, that their object was to establish the first foundation of Christianity, but that from that time circumstances have altered. Other believers say unhesitatingly that if the Church has lost these gifts, it is by her own fault; it is because she has become worldly that the Spirit acts but feebly in her; it is because she has not remained in direct and habitual relation with the full power of the unseen world; but that if she were to see anew springing up within her men and women who live the life of faith and of the Holy Spirit, entirely consecrated to their God, she would see again the manifestation of the same gifts as in former times. Which of these two opinions coincides the most with the Word of God? Is it by the will of God that the “gifts of healing” have been suppressed, or is it rather man who is responsible for it? Is it the will of God that miracles should not take place? Will He in consequence of this no longer give the faith which produces them?Or again, is it the Church which has been guilty of lacking faith?

Pardon and Healing

( From ‘Divine Healing’  by Andrew Murray   Chapter 1)
“But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins (then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, take up thy bed and go unto thine house” (Matt. 9:6).
In man two natures are combined. He is at the same time spirit and matter, heaven and earth, soul and body. For this reason, on one side he is the son of God, and on the other he is doomed to destruction because of the Fall; sin in his soul and sickness in his body bear witness to the right which death has over him. It is the twofold  nature  which has been redeemed by divine grace. When the Psalmist calls upon all that is  within  him  to  bless  the  Lord  for  His benefits, he cries, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, who . . . forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases” (Ps. 103: 3).
When Isaiah foretells the deliverance of  his people, he adds, “The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick; the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity” (Isa. 33:24).    This prediction was accomplished beyond all anticipation when Jesus the Redeemer came down to this earth. How numerous were the healings wrought by Him who was come to establish upon earth the kingdom of heaven! Whether by His own acts or whether afterwards by the commands which He left for His disciples, does He not show us clearly that the preaching of the Gospel and the healing of the sick went together in the salvation which He came to bring? Both are given as evident proof of His mission as the Messiah: “The blind receive their sight and the lame walk.., and the poor have the Gospel preached to them” (Matt. 11: 5). Jesus, who took upon Him the soul and body of man, delivers both in equal measure from the consequences of sin.
This truth is nowhere more evident or better demonstrated than in the history of the paralytic. The Lord Jesus begins by saying to him,  “Thy sins be forgiven thee,” after  which He  adds, “Arise and walk.” The pardon of sin and the healing of sickness complete one the other, for in the eyes of God,who sees our entire nature, sin and sickness are as closely united as the body and the soul. In accordance with the Scriptures, our Lord Jesus has regarded sin and sickness in another light than we have. With us sin belongs to the spiritual domain; we recognize that it is under God’s just displeasure, justly condemned by Him, while sickness, on the contrary, seems only a part of the present condition of our nature, and to have nothing to do with God’s condemnation and His righteousness. Some go so far as to say that sickness is a proof of the love and grace of God.
But neither the Scripture nor yet Jesus Christ Himself ever spoke of sickness in this light, nor do they ever present sickness as a blessing, as a proof of God’s love which should be borne with patience. The Lord spoke to the disciples of divers sufferings which they should have to bear, but when He speaks of sickness, it is always as of an evil caused by sin and Satan, and from which we should be delivered. Very solemnly He declared that every disciple of His would have to bear his cross (Matt. 16:24), but He never taught one sick person to resign himself to be sick. Everywhere Jesus healed the sick, everywhere He dealt with healing as one of the graces belonging to the kingdom of heaven. Sin in the soul and sickness in the body both bear witness to the power of Satan, and “the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil” (I John 3:8).

Praying Like Crazy

From : Dealing With Troubles  by Dr. Feddes
After David killed Goliath, he became a popular military leader. Saul became jealous of David’s popularity. Saul tried to kill him. David went into hiding, going from place to place. On his way out of the country, David went to Goliath’s home town. David went to the court of Achish, the king of Gath. Almost immediately some of the king’s assistants began to talk. They said to Achish, “Isn’t this David, the king of the land? Isn’t he the one they sing about in their dances: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands?’” That song was first sung after David killed Goliath of Gath. It may have been sweet music to David’s countrymen, but it didn’t sound so good to people back in Goliath’s hometown.
When David heard them talking like this, his heart sank. In trying to escape Saul’s frying pan, he had landed right in the middle of Achish’s fire. David was very much afraid of Achish. There he stood, all alone, surrounded by people who saw him as their worst enemy, at the mercy of a king who could have him killed on the spot.

HE HEARS US

- By Billy Graham (Daily Devotion Jan 8)
“What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe . . .” (Mark 11:24)

We are to pray in times of adversity, lest we become faithless and unbelieving. We are to pray in times of prosperity, lest we become boastful and proud. We are to pray in times of danger, lest we become fearful and doubting. We need to pray in times of security, lest we become self-sufficient.
Sinners, pray to a merciful God for forgiveness.
Christians, pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit upon a willful, evil, unrepentant world.
Parents, pray that God may crown your home with grace and mercy.
Children, pray for the salvation of your parents.
Christians, saints of God, pray that the dew of heaven may fall on earth’s dry, thirsty ground, and that righteousness may cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Be An Encourager

By Hope on Dec 31, 2013  From the series Prayer Letter
Scripture: Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32
Have you ever heard the term "a pat on the back"? When someone does something well, people might congratulate them by patting their back or shoulder. Some people like receiving high-fives, handshakes, or hugs in response to a job well done.
Showing Appreciation
When you do something well, how do people let you know? And how does that make you feel? When someone indicates appreciation for my work -- or even my effort toward a task -- it makes me feel good. It encourages me to continue to work hard and to do my best.
How do you show someone that you appreciate what they have done? And how do they respond? When you show appreciation, you motivate people to continue in the work they need to do -- including the work God has given them.
Encourage Each Other
The Bible instructs us to encourage each other in the Lord's work: "Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them" (Ephesians 4:29). It tells believers to "encourage each other and build each other up" (I Thessalonians 5:11). Showing appreciation to others can strengthen and encourage them to walk in God's ways.

TAKE TIME TO REST IN PEACE WITH GOD

We are busy all the time, at least mentally, committing mistake for our physical and spiritual well-being. Busy all the time is good for progress but may harm us physically, mentally as well as spiritually. It disturbs our relationship with One who Loves and Cares us – our Creator God.
We must follow Jesus. He must always be our model. He was busy with people but set aside time to spend with Father in Heaven. The Bible tells us that  –
Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed," Mark,1:35
 We also find in Luke,
"But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer," Luke 5:16.

Showing Appreciation

" One of the lepers, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice." – Luke 17:15

In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

In Jesus’ time, leprosy was much worse than a skin disease – those who suffered from it were considered “unclean” and thus lost their jobs, families and friends.

I’m sure all ten of the men whom Jesus healed of leprosy (Luke 17:11-19) FELT extremely grateful. Yet only one came back to Jesus and verbally thanked him. The Lord commended this man’s act of grateful appreciation, which was recorded for all of history.

Our condition before coming to know Jesus was much worse than leprosy! We were considered unclean by God (whose opinion is the only one that matters); we had lost our relationship with Him; and we were doomed to eternal suffering and punishment. To put it another way, we were dead in our sins (Ephesians 2:1).

Yet through God’s great mercy, we have been “made alive with Christ” (Ephesians 2:5). Because of what Jesus did on the cross, our many sins have been forgiven, we are restored to right standing with God, and we will live forever in joyful fellowship with Him and His children. How much more should we thank Him every day for these and a hundred other blessings!

Giving thanks regularly is not only a command--it is good for us! Numerous studies, even by non-believers, clearly show that people who express gratitude as a way of life are more happy and emotionally healthy.

“The Power of Showing Appreciation”  (Ephesians 4:29)

Happy New Year!

As 2013 winds down, are you making New Year's Resolutions? One of mine is to turn my life completely over to God and stop worrying about the future and having a successful life. Matthew 6:25-29 is encouraging on this issue! “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."
What are you worried about for 2014? Take a look at one of the "secrets" for success in 2014 from the Bible's viewpoint. (http://www.godlife.com/luis-palau/articles-for-growth/finding-the-secret-of-a-successful-christian-life)

God's blessing for you for 2014!
