We are busy all the
time, at least mentally, committing mistake for our physical and spiritual
well-being. Busy all the time is good for progress but may harm us physically, mentally
as well as spiritually. It disturbs our relationship with One who Loves and
Cares us – our Creator God.
We must follow Jesus.
He must always be our model. He was busy with people but set aside time to
spend with Father in Heaven. The Bible tells us that –
Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,
Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he
prayed," Mark,1:35
We also find in Luke,
"But
Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer," Luke 5:16.
We
must also set special time to spend with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ -
The
best time is early morning before daily work or evening before going to bed.
Forget all daily works, mentally and
physically.
Pray
to God. Thank Him for loving, caring and blessing you .
Ask
His forgiveness if you have done, thought or ate or drank against His will.
Read
the Bible prayerfully by asking God to give you understanding.
Pray
earnestly. Invite Jesus to live in you. Ask Him to give you the Holy Spirit to help
and guide you live a good life.
Pray
for your family, relatives, friends, colleagues and others. Pray for leaders of
the area you are living that they may leads the people with love and care. Ask
God to extend His Kingdom in the place you are living.
Do
this daily, anywhere you go live. In doing so, your relationship with God will
grow. You will experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. God
will bless you in everyway.
May
God bless you.
