JESUS SAVES BOTH BODY AND SOUL

Jesus saves not only our soul but also saves us from physical problems. He performed many miracles during His times on earth to help the physical problems of the people. We find that Jesus did not performed miracles, as far as ‘performance is to show’. Instead, miracles happened when Jesus helped people in difficult situations.
That means impossible things happened when Jesus acted on to save people from impossible situation for man. In other words, miracles for man happened when Jesus helped some people in a difficult situation, which were beyond the capacity of man or impossible situation to man. We all know that everything is possible for God. Jesus is God, the Son of God. So, nothing was impossible for Jesus as He is God even when He was in human form. He was Godman when He was on this earth. After resurrection, He is all powerful; God has given all authority in heaven and on earth.
Let us see some of Jesus’ miracles –
1. A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. "'I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.( Matthew 8:1-4)
2. In another situation, when Jesus was sailing in a boat with His disciples, Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke Him, saying, 'Lord, save us! We're going to drown!'
He replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?' He then got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm."The men were amazed and asked, 'What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him!'"( Matthew 8:23-27)
3. When, Jesus and his disciples came to the city of Jericho. As Jesus and His disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (that is, the son of Timaeus), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, 'Son of David, have mercy on me!' "Jesus stopped and said, 'Call him.' "So they called to the blind man, 'Cheer up! On your feet! He's calling you.' Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.
"'What do you want Me to do for you?' Jesus asked him. The blind man said, 'Rabbi, I want to see.'
"'Go,” said Jesus. 'Your faith has healed you.'
Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road."( Mark 10:46-52)
4. A ruler came and knelt before Him and said, 'My daughter has just died. But come and put Your hand on her, and she will live.' Jesus got up and went with him, and so did His disciples. Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the edge of His cloak. She said to herself, 'If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.'
Jesus turned and saw her. 'Take heart, daughter,' He said, 'your faith has healed you.' And the woman was healed from that moment. When Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, He said, 'Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.'
But they laughed at Him. After the crowd had been put outside, He went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. News of this spread through all that region."( Matthew 9:18-26)
Jesus love all and showed love by helping the needy people. Therefore, He healed the sick; raised the dead; walked on water; and fed thousands of people who did not have food. Crowds followed him often because of His miracles. But Jesus taught them by His life that loving God and receiving His kingdom is even greater than miracles.
