After Jesus defeated Satan in the latter’s temptation and Satan left Him: “14Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. 15 He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.” (Luke 4:14-15)
When believers face temptation with full faith in God and resist the Devil in Jesus name, by the words of God as Jesus did in the desert, the Holy Spirit helps them defeat the Devil. And after overcoming Satan’s temptation, the Holy Spirit filled such believers with power that people regard, believe and praise them as God’s people.
