As parents eagerly watch their child grow, God is eagerly
waiting you grow in spiritually. And as parents want their child mature enough to be able to do
something praiseworthy, your heavenly Father wants you mature to do something
to glorify Him. God desires that you grow spiritually and enjoy His blessings.
God is please when His children grow in faith and enjoy His
blessings abundantly, as parents are please to see their children happy.
But, you will never be able to receive and enjoy the true
blessings of God until you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. And you will
not be able to enjoy His blessings unless you grow in faith. You will enjoy
more and more as you grow spiritually. You can appreciate when you grow in
maturity.
Knowing God’s will that the Apostle Paul tells us how he did
when he became mature. He says, “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I
thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put
childish ways behind me” (1 Corinthians 13:11).
As God wants you, His Apostle Paul also wants you become
mature and be able to be an instrument for God.
Hope, you have already received Jesus. If so, read the Bible
daily and always pray. Take part in Church activities. Go to Church regularly
and help others. Tell others about Jesus Christ and about the Salvation of God
in Jesus Christ. Help them receive Jesus. You will grow in faith and be an
ambassador for Christ. You will find peace and happiness in doing these. Your
life will become enjoyable and be in good health physically as well as
spiritually.
