Jesus Came to Defeat Satan and his power!
Since the fall of man, God promised that an offspring of woman ( the messiah - Jesus Christ) will crush Satan. God said to Satan (serpent),
“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." (Genesis 3:15)
So, Jesus was born to a virgin girl Mary more than 2000 years ago in Palestine and defeated Satan when the later tempted before He had begun His public ministry.
Jesus defeated Satan’s power by healing many victims of Satan suffering from variety of diseases; raise the dead and restored the already broken relationship between Goa and man. All who received Him and believed in His name are given the right to call ‘the children of God (John 1:12) and are justified and will live forever with God (John 3:16).
In His death, all believers’ sins are forgiven by God (Isaiah 53:5)
