Pray for others to show your love and care for them. God will bless you when you pray for others instead of continuously praying for you and your family only. Prayer for you, for your family and for others.
God is love. He loves all people. He wants us to love others. Jesus instructed us to ‘Love one another, Love our neighbours, Love others as He Loves us”.
Christians are not just to enjoy the blessings of God. We have to tell others about God’s love for all. God wants that all people would come to Him. He wants that they come and receive His blessings through in His Son, Jesus Christ.That’s is why Jesus instructed us to “Go and tell all people” about His Love for all. As such, we all Christians are to be His witness.
Pray for you and others everyday. God will answer your prayer. He will care for you, bless you. Praying for others is also essentially good for Christians to grow in faith and is one of the best way to help others. We have limited capacity to help others in kind and cash. When we pray, the greatest Helper of all, God will help them. Besides, God blesses those who seek His blessings for others.
Apostle Paul writes to the Ephesians:
“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” ( Ephesians 1:15-17)
Let’s pray, "Father in Heaven, I thank You for always helping me. I pray to help me have a heart for other people. Help them when they need Your help. Help me to help them through You. Help them that they may understand Your Love for them that they accept You as Lord and Saviour and become Your witness among others. In my Lord and Saviour Jesus name I pray, Amen."
