A foolish beautiful girl, Rebekah

Hi, friends, just see how fool is Rebekah!
Read Genesis 24. Rebekah was really a foolish beautiful girl!. She did not care about her future. She agreed to marry a man whom she never seen and followed the servant to a far away place to marry whom she did not know.
Hi girls, will you agree to marry a boy whom you never saw and do not know much about if any middleman ask you to?
Abraham sent his servant to search girl for Isaac’s wife. The servant went and proposed Rebekah. Rebekah accepted the proposal without much enquiring about her proposed husband. The servant said that if she agree she must go with him to marry Isaac without giving time to wait. Rebekah also agreed that proposal and followed the servant without knowing whether she would be accepted by Isaac or not.
What if Isaac did not accept her? Rebekah never thought of rejecting by Isaac!
Friends, God let His useful people writes down these stories for us to learn something. This is not just a story to enjoy. We must extract the ‘Holy words of God – His teachings’’.
Abraham stands for ‘God’; Isaac stand for ‘Jesus christ’ and rebekah stand for ‘the believers of Jesus Christ’.
As Abraham sent His servant God is sending His messengers to every corner of the world searching for the life partner of Jesus Christ. If anyone believe in Jesus without personally saw Him and accepted Him as Lord and Saviour as Rebekah did, he/she will become the God’s child through Jesus (he or she became the wife/ life partner of Jesus – thus automatically became God’s child. However, without Jesus how can one become God’s child? Only because of Jesus all can become the children of God; by marrying Jesus one become God’s bride(child).
God, in the Bible, let His servants speaks out of His inner meanings of His words. But if the Holy Spirit of God do not help, no one can understand the true meanings. So, let us always ask the help of God through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus also says about the Bridegroom and bride in the Bible. Jesus is bridge and we are His propose bridegroom. This bride and bridegroom is used with more meaning. Husband and wife become the father and mother of children.
Similarly, if one become the wife of Jesus, we must have children. So, being the follower of Jesus Christ we must bear fruit, we must work to multiply the children of God. And, to become the dearest friend of Jesus Christ, you must believe Him without seeing Him with your naked eyes, without much enquiring but fully trust the servants of God like preachers, missionaries, pastors, speakers, etc. You must believe that God’s word in the Bible is enough to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, my Lord and Saviour.
You must also fully trust Jesus Christ that He will surely not reject but accept you if you believe in what the preachers tell you and go to Him. He will surely forgive your sin and clean your sin and make you His friend, child, partner and give you eternal life in Him.

Oh! foolish Rebekah became the luckiest woman on earth!
This is the ‘message on the Cross’, which the Bible says “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” ( 1 Corinthians 1:18-25)

She became the child (daughter-in-law) of the most coveted man of God on earth Abraham; she became the most coveted bride and wife of Isaac. Her name will always be remembered because of that.Rebekah became such a blessed woman because of her foolishness.
She was met by the servant of Abraham and proposed
1.    to marry Isaac without first meet with him and knowing what sort of man he was.
2.    That must go with the servant travelling along way to marry Isaac without knowing whether Isaac will accept her for his wife
Her foolishness was that –
1.    she believed the servant’s word without knowing whether his word was true and whether there was such proposal or such person called Isaac
2.    she accepted the proposal of a servant without caring and knowing what will happen
3.    she left home and went her way without the least doubt that she would be rejected but totally believe she was fair enough to be accepted by Isaac as his wife
Friend, the Bible says,

Friend, please believe the word of God now and accept what He says in the Bible. The Bible says that Faith is ‘believe without seeing. Rebekah has FAITH. Through FAITH we become saved by the GRACE of GOD. God’s Grace is for those who have faith in Jesus Christ.
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour today and become the children of God. Do not think about your past and present life and your sinful nature, your weaknesses and shortcoming. Call on Jesus and pray the following prayer. Believe, without any doubt as Rebekah that Jesus Christ, God will surely accept you as His child by praying the prayer and coming to Him. Become the luckiest person on earth.

Pray, “Lord, I am a sinner, do not know You my creator, Lord and saviour. Please, forgive me. Please save me from my sin and my sinful nature. You have died on the Cross for me. I thank You for that. Now, I invite You to become my Lord and Saviour. Take control of my life. I surrender my everything in Your hand. Please, live in me as You promises us to be with us for ever. Send the Holy Spirit and let Him be my forever Guide, Helper, Comforter so that I may live a worthy life as your child. In my Lord and Saviour Jesus name, Amen.”

If you pray so, write ‘Amen’ and start living with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. May God bless you.
