Assurance of Eternal Life

THE CALL TO MISSIONS :  1. Assurance of Eternal Life
The Bible teaches that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, not by any good deeds that we do. See Ephesians 2:8,9; John 3:16.
We are saved from condemnation in order to do good works. See Ephesians 2:10.
It is very important to see the order in Ephesians 2:8-10: first, we are saved by grace through faith alone, and second, we do good works because we love God. Other major religions of the world teach that one must do good works to move toward God. Christianity teaches that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was sufficient for people to receive eternal life with God. Life with God is a free gift to all who believe.
Faith that leads to salvation is much more than simply believing that Jesus is the Son of God—even the demons understand that Jesus is the Son of God. Saving faith is not merely intellectual  understanding; it involves a change of heart. Saving faith involves a commitment to receive Jesus as Lord of our lives—it is trusting Jesus to give us life. Saving faith results in a change in our lifestyle—we turn from sinful ways and follow Christ.
The first letter of John teaches that we can know that we have received eternal life. See 1 John 5:13.
If you have doubts about your salvation, study 1 John. The scriptures give sufficient proof of salvation to anyone who is truly seeking to follow God.
Was there a specific time in your life that you committed to trust Christ as your Lord and
Savior? If not, then why not do it now?
Jesus said that in order to see the kingdom of God, we must be spiritually born again. See John 3:3,5.
We are born again through faith in Jesus. See John 3:16.
Anyone who turns from sin, asking Jesus to forgive past sins, can pray and immediately receive eternal life See Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9; Romans 10:13.
If you have confessed that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you have received eternal life. See Romans 10:9,10.
And you have received the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Christ—who will guide you through life. Let us now examine how to follow God.

THE CALL TO MISSIONS

THE CALL TO MISSIONS
II. Introduction
All disciples of Christ are called to witness for him, just as Jesus commanded his Apostles to witness for him. See Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 1:8.
Certainly the eleven Apostles that remained with Christ after the resurrection could not carry the Gospel to the “ends of the earth” by themselves (Acts 1:8).
So every believer is commanded to share the Good News of Christ as he or she goes about daily activities.
Missions Work typically involves witnessing in places where Christianity is not firmly established. So a Christian missionary may spread the Gospel and plant mission churches in foreign countries or in areas of his own country where the Good News of Christ has not penetrated.
While the primary purpose of Christian missions is to spread the Gospel, it is also to help people with physical and social needs. So if possible, a Christian missionary does things like feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, and providing shelter for the homeless.
Some believers are called to full-time missions. In order to determine if you are called to such mission work, it is important to be sure of two things:
(1) you have received eternal life, and
 (2) you know how to follow the guidance of God. Of course, these two essentials are valuable for more than just the call to missions, but throughout life.
We want to be assured that we will go to be with God when we physically die. And we want to know how to follow God’s guidance in every stage of life.

Jesus Christ always love and cares you

Friends, why worry? Be glad and thank Jesus who saved us and make us the children of God. See how our Lord and Saviour Jesus pray for us. This I often read and get Heavenly bliss. May God bless you, too by reading this. Please read :
“After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent…They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.  All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. ..
Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. ..My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.. .

Believe and declare with mouth to be saved

The Bible says :
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who
believes in Him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile —the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)
Note here, if  “you believed”, you are justified. But you must also ‘declare’ ‘confess’ ‘profess’ to be saved.
You ‘confess’ ‘declare’ “profess” to confirm your faith in action and in living Godly life.
God shows us so much mercy, grace, sympathy on us that we are saved not by being good, (which no man can do, if breaking one among the ten Commandment is same as breaking all the ten laws) but my faith (believing).
I hope you must have believed.
If you have not yet confessed with your mouth, please confess it now and profess and become the ‘dear child of God’.
Call on Jesus now, pray with humble submission, confess that You believe on Him. He will forgive your sin and make you the dear child of God with eternal life.
If you do so, you are welcome to the growing family of God through Jesus Christ.
 God bless you.

A Joyful heart cannot keep silent

A man with leprosy came to him (Jesus) and begged him on his knees,
“If you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Jesus was indignant (filled with compassion). He reached out his hand and touched the man,
“I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
“See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.’ (Mark 1:40-45)
Friends, this Man knew his disease was not curable in known medicines and had no hope but to die. One day, he heard Jesus healed any disease and fully believed what he heard. He wanted to request Jesus to heal him but, he did not consider himself worthy to get favour. However, there were only to ways for him – whether to approach Jesus for healing his leprosy or die. Later, having no alternative, he approached Jesus with a humble request, using the most humbly submission word “if you are willing”.
Jesus knew the faith of that person and how he humbled himself. Jesus looked at him and knowing his hopeless condition, the only hope he has was on Him (Jesus) alone. If He did not help, the man will die sooner or later due to leprosy. Jesus, having compassion, simply said  “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
See, how much powerful are the words come from Jesus, the Bible tells us “Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed” just after He said “Be clean!”
We must also know that we are born sinner, born from sinners’ blood through Adam and Eve (man and woman) and must die with eternal death because of sin. We also have learnt Jesus is the Saviour of the world (sinners) and must believe what we heard. You must also consider yourself sinner, unworthy to be saved, must approach Jesus with humble request to be saved from sin or meet eternal condemnation.
So, humble yourself; knell down with prayer before Jesus and request Him to help you. He will surely help you and give you what you want. He will also bless you with a Saved New Life, A Blessed Life in Jesus. Pray like this :
“Lord, I am a born of sinner, only to die. Sin controls me! I am but a slave to sin. I have no power to overcome this Sinful nature in me. I learnt Jesus died on the cross to save me from sin. Thank You for that. Now, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I request Him save me from the clutch of Sin and give me a New Life. I invite Him to His seat on the throne of my life to control and direct my life in His pleasure. Please send the Holy Spirit to help me live a worthy life for You. In my Lord and Saviour Jesus name,  Amen.“
Secondly, let us also consider the second point here. Jesus healed the leper but warned him not to tell the story to others. However, his joy could no longer keep him silent and told about the good news that Jesus healed him. And by learning the good news from the leper, many became the believer of Jesus.
‘A Joyful heart cannot keep silent!’
When we know Jesus helped us in our need and also saved us from sin, we must not keep silent. We must also share our joy with others and ‘love others as we love ourselves’. The best way to love others is to share the Good news of Jesus Christ. Let us help others learn about the love of God for all. Jesus also commanded His disciples ( and all who enjoy a saved life in Him)
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:18-20)

God created Man to rule in the world in His behalf

God  created the heavens and earth, with every created beings . God, then created Man to look after and rule over His created being on earth in His behalf. So, God created Man in His own image. He gave His 'Spirit and life’. That was why, God fully entrusted man to rule over His created beings on eath. Let us read the book of Genesis chapter one from verse 26 :-
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. ”
Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food. ” And it was so. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning —the sixth day. (Genesis 1:1-31)

How can I learn to hate my own sin?

Questions about the Christian Life

Romans 12:9 says, “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” These actions are two sides of the same coin, and they are mutually dependent. Our grip on the good will be tenuous indeed if we don’t learn to hate the evil.

Hating sin in other people is comparatively easy. We’re adept at finding the speck in our neighbor’s eye, even while the plank is embedded in our own (Luke 6:42). Most of us have a pet sin or two that we have a high tolerance for and readily excuse. Poet George Herbert called it that “one cunning bosom-sin.” So, hating our own heart’s sin is easier said than done. Our flesh is sin’s ally (Galatians 5:17), and we fight against our own natural desires in our struggle to “be holy in all” (1 Peter 1:15).

What does the Bible say about ghosts / hauntings?"

- GotQuestions.org

Answer:
Is there such a thing as ghosts? The answer to this question depends on what precisely is meant by the term “ghosts.” If the term means “spirit beings,” the answer is a qualified “yes.” If the term means “spirits of people who have died,” the answer is “no.” The Bible makes it abundantly clear that there are spirit beings, both good and evil. But the Bible negates the idea that the spirits of deceased human beings can remain on earth and “haunt” the living.

How do I identify my spiritual gift?

<GotQuestions.org >
Answer:
There is no magic formula or definitive test that can tell us exactly what our spiritual gifts are. The Holy Spirit distributes the gifts as He determines (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). A common problem for Christians is the temptation to get so caught up in our spiritual gift that we only seek to serve God in the area in which we feel we have been gifted. That is not how the spiritual gifts work. God calls us to obediently serve Him in all things. He will equip us with whatever gift or gifts we need to accomplish the task He has called us to.

The Saviour of the world Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was with God from the beginning. He was involve in the creation. He is the source of life and light.
The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” (John 1:1-4)

The Beginning of creation :

The first book of the Bible, Genesis gives an account of creation. Let us read Genesis chapter 1 :-

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning —the first day.

Avoiding temptation

Avoiding temptation
  -

         GodLife.com

Scripture: “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.  When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.”  1 Corinthians 10:13.
So you become a Christian.  You think, “Follow Jesus:  that won’t be so hard.  Obviously, this is the way I want to live, so I’ll avoid all the bad things." Unfortunately, it is not so easy to avoid those bad things – those sins – that keep you away from God.  But the good news at least, as St. Paul noted, is that anything that has tempted you, has tempted others, as well.  Any sin you commit is not the first of its kind. Others know how you feel!
But the even better news, he wrote, is that God will give you a way to avoid falling into the trap of yielding to your temptation and falling into sin.
"Get Behind Me, Satan!"
In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 4, our Lord Jesus was sorely and brazenly tempted before He started His ministry.  Jesus had gone into the wilderness by Himself.  While He was alone and hungry, the Evil One tried to get Jesus to turn stones into bread, to have Him summon angels to attend Himself, and to make Jesus worship him.  Each time, Jesus used God’s Word to rebuke the Devil; Jesus would not give in to sin even if it made his life easier.
God does not want us to give in to sin either.  For us, temptation will probably not show up as the devil.  But we are tempted to sin – to make life easier for ourselves, to enjoy a pleasure not allotted to us, to avoid something we don’t want to do – in hundreds of ways.

A Blessed Life in Jesus Christ

Life on earth is not ‘a bed of Roses’. Problems started the day a child is born. Yet all of us are trying to have a peaceful life. We do everything to have a blissful life. But no one can find such a blessed life. This is because of Sin as per the word of God, the Bible Sin  enter the world and created all problem in human life.
God created man to be with Him but sin separated man from God. God look at man and have mercy on man that they are living under the control of sin with untold suffering. So, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to save the world from the bondage of sin. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God saves all who accepted His Son Jesus Christ as lord and Saviour and give a peaceful and successful life, better call “A Blessed life in Jesus Christ”; He will also give them an everlasting life. To know how to have such covet life, we must study how everything happen by studying the word of God. For which, let us learn about Jesus, who is known as “The Saviour of the world.”
