HolySpirit

All about the Holy Spirit
(All,otherwise indicated are from email lessons I received from GotQuestions.org.)

1.The Holy Spirit is God :
The Holy Spirit is God which is clearly seen in the Scriptures. In Acts 5:3-4, Peter tells Ananias that he had “not lied to men but to God.”
The Holy Spirit is God because He possesses the characteristics of God.
His omnipresence is seen in Psalms 139:7-8 says “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.”
Then in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, we see the characteristic of omniscience in the Holy Spirit. “But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”
The Holy Spirit possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows 1 Corinthians 2:10..
The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30)
The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27)
He makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
The Holy Spirit is God, the third Person of the Trinity. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16,26; 15:26)
2.The Holy Spirit is a person
Many people find the Holy Spirit confusing. Is the Holy Spirit a force, a person, or something else? What does the Bible teach?
The Bible provides many ways to help us understand that the Holy Spirit is truly a person. First, every pronoun used in reference to the Spirit is “he” not “it.” The original Greek language of the New Testament is explicit in confirming the person of the Holy Spirit. The word for “Spirit” (pneuma) is neuter and would naturally take neuter pronouns to have grammatical agreement. Yet, in many cases, masculine pronouns are found (e.g. John 15:26; 16:13-14)
Grammatically, there is no other way to understand the pronouns of the New Testament related to the Holy Spirit—He is referred to as a “He,” as a person.(Matthew 28:19) teaches us to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is a collective reference to one Triune God. Also, we are not to grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30).
The Spirit can be sinned against (Isaiah 63:10) and lied to (Acts 5:3). We are to obey Him (Acts 10:19-21) and honor Him (Psalm 51: 11).

BIBLE STUDY FOR THE CHOSEN

INTRODUCTION:
God loves you. He cares for you. He wants to bless you. For which, He made a provision. But He also gives us ‘freedom to chose’ – to receive or not. If you want to receive, you must learn how to receive it. His provision is both for life on earth as well as for life after dead – for eternity.
God created us to be His beloved children and live a blissful life so that we can praise His name. Sin entered the world and separated us from God. Living away from God, all live uncomfortable, miserable life with problems, sufferings and must die sooner or later. All these on earth are the result of sin and living under the power of sin and its consequences - eternal separation from God, eternal death.
God loves us so much that He made a plan to save us from the power and consequences of sin. He gives us the way to return to Him and become His children. Many persons have already received His blessings and enjoy a blessed life on earth with a hope for eternal life with Him in Heaven after this life on earth.
All the provisions of God are recorded in the Bible. So, many studies the Bible to know how to receive the blessings of God, our Creator. Hope you also receive the same. For which, you must know who is God, who created us and everything. Let us learn through His Holy Words in the Holy Bible.
You must also know that the Bible is not easy to study meaningfully without guide and without the help of the Spirit of God. Because, it is not just a simple book but the book of books, all written by men of God as God Himself had spoken to them and made them recorded His Holy words for all the people on earth.
This is a good and simple guide, easy to understand. I have prepared this with prayer and from lessons I have learnt. Please study one chapter daily with fervent prayer and meditation. Take the Bible with you and read the Bible verses given here from your Bible. Don’t try to read the whole lessons immediately. The best way is to study one lesson daily with earnest prayer that the Holy Spirit helps you understand the meanings. Read at least twice what you read after a gape of more than an hour, so that your memory may record it for you benefit.
God bless you.
CHAPTER  1:  LESSON  1: - THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD
The Bible is book of books. The Bible is the Word of God. God speaks to us through His words.  We can learn God’s word and His works in the Bible.
The Bible is not a book of philosophy, although it is philosophical. Do not go to the Bible for a scientific treatise; however, there is no discrepancy between the ascertained facts of science and the Bible.
The Bible is not a book of history, but is found to be accurate when recording history.
The Bible was given to man from God, revealing Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and God the Son, the only Savior. (John 14:6)
The Bible is as high above all other books as the heavens are above the earth. Someone has said of the Bible: “Read it to be wise; believe it to be safe; and practice it to be right.”
The Bible is written for all men and women on earth to make us understand God’s love for us. By studying the Bible, one can understand ‘who is God and how to get His help to be saved from unending misery of life and share His eternal life.
The Bible says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.(John 3:16-18)
Here, we find that God understand all our misery in life cause by Sin and have mercy on us. He loves us very much and wants to safe us from these worldly troubles. Therefore, He sent His son Jesus Christ to so that any one who believes in Him will not live a miserable life and shall not perish but have eternal life and be saved through Him. Here, we also find that “but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” This means, if anyone do not believe in His Son Jesus Christ will be condemned. So, you must believe in Jesus.
Many persons study the Bible to get worldly knowledge and understanding. Yes, one can learn knowledge and wisdom from the Bible, but it is not the main purpose of God.
God bless you.

30 Days Guide for New Believers

( NB: This is the ' 30 Days Guide for New Believers' I have learn from John D.Beckett, sent me through email Daily post by Sister Vivian Holabird in July 2011. There may be few points not found in the same lessons found in other websites.)

INTRODUCTION 1.: A person who is newly born spiritually can be compared with a newborn baby. Both are at risk. Both need help. Both require protection, care and nurture. Just as the young baby needs natural food, the person born spiritually needs the right kind of spiritual food.
Jesus gave an illustration to help us understand the risks involved. He spoke about a farmer sowing seed. He said some seed is sown by the side of the road where it is consumed by birds before it ever takes root. Other seed falls where the soil is shallow. It has an initial burst of growth, but the roots never become well established. When the sun comes up, the seed is scorched and withers. Still other seed takes root, but soon thorns entangle and choke the life out of the new plant. Jesus described another kind of soil as "good ground." Seed sown into this soil took root, grew and eventually multiplied many times over. (See Matthew 13:1-23 for the full parable) Wouldn't you like your spiritual roots to go into that kind of soil?
The "seed" in the parable represents the "gospel" -- or literally the "good news" that Jesus died on our behalf in order that we might be restored in our relationship with God and receive eternal life. You should make it your goal to go beyond an initial experience of yielding to Christ, and press on toward sustained viability, productivity and dynamic change. Studies indicate the critical importance of what happens in the days immediately following a new spiritual birth.
If you get a good start, the benefits can sustain you the rest of your life. You want to understand what has happened and establish new ways of thinking and behaving in order to grow, become spiritually healthy and impact the lives of others.

Bible Terms: Understanding Allegory

By Luis Palau  . ( Courtesy: GodLife.com)
Calendars, posters, and great works of art all feature the marvels of human life and nature. But what if we were to look at God’s creation allegorically—representing meaning deeper than just function or beauty? The Bible uses many facets of nature symbolically. Trees, branches, fruit, bodies, lips, feet, and other things become more than we usually expect.
The art of the allegory is pervasive throughout the Bible and therefore is important to understand. Here are fourteen terms that will broaden your understanding of some crucial symbols.
1.Allegory in Bible : BODY
Our bodies are temporarily housing our personalities and souls. They are mortal containers of the immortal. God uses our bodies as examples of how all Christians are connected and how they should interact. He calls us the “body of Christ.” God created each of us with a unique personality, background, and set of skills to perform a unique role for him. Yet God wants us to work together for the benefit of the entire “body,” of which Jesus Christ is the head (see Ephesians 4:15–16).
2.Allegory in Bible : LIPS
Lips symbolize communication. We must use discretion in using our lips for the good of others and for our own well-being. “He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin” (Proverbs 13:3). Despite all the harm we can cause with our words through gossip, lies and slander, if God is involved in our lives, our lips can honor the Lord and relay words of wisdom. More importantly, the best thing we can do with our lips is to praise God and express our thankfulness to him. In turn, our praise to God can lead to telling others about his goodness. However, since “actions speak louder than words,” we must consistently do what we say; otherwise, we will be seen as hypocrites, not witnesses.

Statement of My Faith

1.       The Bible : The Bible is God’s inerrant Word, the only final authority for faith and life. (Proverbs 30:5-6; Isaiah 8:20; John 10:35; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21) We need daily conversation with God through Bible reading and prayer. (Psalm 1; Daniel 6:10; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:17
2.       God : There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14); God created the universe ex nihilo, from nothing, and made all things very good.(Genesis 1-2; Exodus 20:11; Hebrews 11:3)
3.       Man : God created man to glorify God and to be stewards of creation.(Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 8; Isaiah 43:7; Revelation 4:11; Psalm 37:4);Man has fallen into sin, and we are totally unable to save ourselves.(Genesis 3; Romans 3:12, 23; Romans 5:12)
4.       Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is God, fully God and fully man.(Matthew 1:21-23; John 1:1,14; 20:28; Hebrews 1:1-4, 2:14) Jesus was born of a virgin, obeyed God perfectly, worked great miracles, died on a cross, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and reigns over all things. (Luke 1:26-35, Hebrews 4:15; John 14:11, Luke 23-24, Ephesians 1:20-23)
5.       Salvation : Salvation is merited only by Jesus’ perfect obedience and substitutionary atonement.(Isaiah 53; Hebrews 7:26-27; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Acts 4:12);Salvation is entirely God’s gift, not our achievement, and is received by faith, not works. (John 3:16; Romans 1:16-17; Galatians 2:16-21)
6.       The Holy Spirit : The Holy Spirit gives new birth, unites us to Christ, equips us with His gifts, and empowers us to be His ambassadors. (John 3:3-8; Romans 8:9-11; Ephesians 3:16-21; 1 Corinthians 12; Acts 1:8)
7.       The church : Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all men, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith. The church is the one body of God’s people throughout all generations and from all nations. (Romans 12:5; Galatians 3:26-29; Ephesians 1:22-23; Revelation 7:9)
8.       Sacrament : Christ gives two signs and seals of his grace: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.(John 4:1; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Matthew 28:19; Mark 14:22-24; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
9.       Angels : God’s holy angels defend and help God’s people.(Psalm 34:7, 91:11; Matthew 18:10; Hebrews 1:14). Satan and other fallen angels are dangerous but doomed. Christ is victor.(Ephesians 6:10-18; Colossians 2:15; 1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 12:10-12)
10.   Second Coming : Christ will return visibly to rule the world and to make all things new.(Matthew 24:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 21:1-5) God’s people will rejoice forever in heaven; God’s enemies will suffer forever in hell.(Daniel 12:2-3; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 22:1-5; 2 Thessalonians 1:9) God’s covenant addresses not only individuals but also their families.(Genesis 17:7; 18:19; Deuteronomy 7:9; Joshua 24;15; Psalm 103:17; Acts 11:14; 16:15,31)

ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU THE BEST

When we received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, God accepted us as His adopted child.
When we become God’s child through Jesus Christ, we must live life worthy to be called ‘the children of God’ (John 1:12)
Jesus knows our weakness as human being. Jesus once said “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41a).
Jesus, therefore, promised that God will send the Holy Spirit to help us live a Godly life. He said : “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you” (Acts 1:8a)
When we receive the Holy Spirit, He will give us such strength that we will become His successful mission workers. He says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” ” (Acts 1:8)
Jesus wants that we ask for the Holy Spirit, when He says :  “….your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11 :13b)
Therefore, always pray and ask God to give you the Holy Spirit to help you everyday and in every situation, live a Godly life worthy to be called God’s child.

May this Christmas brings you 'a joy for ever'

May God bless you.

May Christmas Brings You The Blessing Of God

More than 2,000 years ago, God came from Heaven and became a man, having His name ‘Jesus Christ’, which means ‘Saviour’.  Jesus Christ was with God from the beginning and came to this world as human being to save all the people from the power of sin ( and  originator of sin, Satan) and its consequences – eternal condemnation. The Bible says, ‘’In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . And the Word became flesh.” (John 1: 1 & 4)
God became man only to save you from eternal condemnation and makes God’s children. So, let us celebrate Christmas with joy and praise the Lord.
God became a man only because He loves us. That’s what we should celebrate Christmas.
Many thousand years ago, the prophet of God, Isaiah foretell the birth of Jesus and had given four names of our Lord that explains His character and nature. Isaiah says, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called ‘Wonderful Counselor’,’ Mighty God’, ‘Everlasting Father’, ‘Prince of Peace’..( Isaiah 9:6)
Thus, Jesus Christ is 1) Wonderful Counselor’; 2. Mighty God’; 3. Everlasting Father and 4. Prince of Peace.
1. WONDERFUL COUNSELOR : Jesus Christ is a ‘WONDERFUL COUNSELOR’. He teaches us the love of God and the way to God. The people wondered His teachings with authority and said, “No one ever spoke the way this man does” (John 7:46).
2. THE MIGHTY GOD : Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God, the God-Man. He performed many miracles, lived a sinless life and forgave people’s sin - the proved of THE MIGHTY GOD.
3. The Everlasting Father. Jesus and the Father (God) are one (John 10:30). He was with God in the beginning (John 1:1),He  was with God in the beginning (John 1:2) He was the maker of all things (John 1:3) He is the designer of the whole universe (Hebrews 11:3).
4. The Prince of Peace. Jesus is the only ‘Way to Peace with God’. Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Jesus is the ‘Way to God’ (John 14 :6).
All the true followers have Christ-like character, love others as Jesus Christ love us. So, they have peaceful relationship with other people. This is why, Jesus Christ is ‘the Prince of Peace’.
To be like Christ, call on Him in prayer and receive Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.

2.God’s Love is For Us. He Knows Our Fault But Promised To Forgive Us If Turn To Him

God is all merciful. His love is great. God may be against you. You must know that if God is against you, He is against your old-self to make you new. God is always against sin, and want to destroy sin. He will do whatever is necessary to do away with sin. Therefore, do not worry, be happy with a hope Gd will make you free from your sinful way of life if He ever touch you whether with happiness or trouble. He promised to forgive us if we turn to Him. In earlier verses, God told Prophet Isaiah thousands years ago to tell the people of Israel about His plan of ‘Forgiveness’. Isaiah told the people of Israel about this message of God. This message is for all the people of the world. If anyone repent, turn away from sinful life and turn to God; ask God in prayer to forgive his or her sin God will forgive him/her and will make him/her God’s Child and bless him abundantly with every good things in life and eternal life with Him.
Read what Isaiah says to Israel and to you, me and all people :
“ I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross
and remove all your impurities. I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called
the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.”
Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.
But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the Lord will perish.
“You will be ashamed because of the sacred oaks in which you have delighted;you will be disgraced because of the gardens
that you have chosen. You will be like an oak with fading leaves,
like a garden without water. The mighty man will become tinder
and his work a spark;both will burn together, with no one to quench the fire.” (Isaiah 1:25-31)

God Knows Our Fault But Wants To Forgive Us If We Go To Him

God told Prophet Isaiah thousands years ago to tell the people of Israel abut His plan of ‘Forgiveness’.
“Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the LORD has spoken:
“I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger,
but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”
Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great,
a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption!
They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel
and turned their backs on him.
Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion?
Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.
From the sole of your foot to the top of your headthere is no soundness—
only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.
Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire;your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers.
Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a cucumber field, like a city under siege.
Unless the LORD Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.
Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah!
“The multitude of your sacrifices— what are they to me?” says the LORD.
“I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals;I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
When you come to appear before me,who has asked this of you,
this trampling of my courts?
Stop bringing meaningless offerings!Your incense is detestable to me.
New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals
I hate with all my being.They have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you;even when you offer many prayers,
I am not listening.Your hands are full of blood!
Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight;
stop doing wrong.Learn to do right; seek justice.Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;plead the case of the widow.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
If you are willing and obedient,you will eat the good things of the land;
but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 1: 2-20)

Celebrate Christmas– distribute Greeting Card among your unbelieving friends

You may not be able to preach the Gospel every time. But you and all of us can distribute Christmas Greeting Card. Distribute it  in this Christmas among unbelieving friends. This is one of the best way to tell them that ‘Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came on this earth to save the world; all who believe and receive Him as Lord and Saviour will not be condemn but will have eternal life.
God inspired the former Christian leaders to celebrate Christmas- not necessarily that Jesus was born on the same date. But to celebrate Christmas that the world may know the coming of God in this world to save all who believe in Him.
Celebrate it for the glory of the Lord and as a chance to promote the Gospel by distributing Christmas Greeting Cards and other beneficial activities.

The Star of Jesus, Not The Star of Bethlehem

When Jesus was born more than 2000 years ago, the Magi ( wise men) saw ‘Star’ of the new born baby Jesus. So, they followed the ‘Star’ from the East, as written in the Bible( Matthew 2:1-12). The Magi knew it was the ‘Star’ of Jesus, the Messiah. Therefore, the came to Bethlehem and worshipped Him.
1.HOW DO YOU CALL THE STAR : Many people, including Bible experts study the Bible, Commentaries, Science, historical writings, etc. and try to explain about the ‘Star’. They called it ‘The Star of Bethlehem’. The name they give itself is wrong and how can they explain about this ‘Star’?
If you want to understand about that ‘Star’, first understand, acknowledge, accept as and called ‘The Star of Jesus, the Messiah’. Only then, God will open your mind and through the Holy Spirit, He will make you understand.
The Magi knew and called ‘The Star of Jesus, the Messiah’. And it was true. Why called it otherwise and try to unfold the miracle in other way around?
Many works of God are Miracle to man. But ‘Miracle’ is the word of man, not the word of God. For God, there is no word ‘Miracle’!
God created the universe. He created all created being from ‘without’ or ‘nothing’. He said ‘Let there be Light’ and ‘there was Light’. Likewise, He commanded ‘earth, Sky, Sun,Moon, Star, and every created being’ and all these things existed. He created only Man in his own hand, as Genesis in the Bible tells us.
Do you believe in God? Do you believe God is the Creator?
If yes, call the Star the Magi saw as ‘The Star of Jesus, the Messiah’ and not ‘The Star of Bethlehem.”
Bethlehem is just a place, a small town where Jesus was born. God would not give a sign to any man to tell about Bethlehem. He gave the sign only to tell that Jesus, the Messiah was born to save the world.
Do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe Jesus as the Messiah or Christ?
If yes, call the Star the Magi saw as ‘The Star of Jesus, the Messiah’ and not ‘The Star of Bethlehem.”
Only then, God will give you understanding about His words in the Bible.
Write ‘Praise the Lord’ if you believe and accept Jesus as Messiah and as Your Lord and Saviour.

You Can Have Eternal Life

Life on earth is not a bed of roses. Our life is a mixture of ups and downs, good and bad, happiness and sadness, success and failure, health and sickness, life and death.
All the miserable life, according to the word of God, the Bible, is the result of sin against our Creator, Almighty God.
The Bible tells us that we have sin that we deserve eternal punishment. God can not tolerate sin. He must punish sin and all sinners. However, God loves us so much that He promises us to ‘save us from eternal punishment and give us eternal life to all who obey His instruction in the Bible. The Bible says,
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
To be saved from eternal condemnation and have eternal life, you must believe what the Bible say and accept that you have sinned against God:
We all have done and thought that are wrong in the sight of God. All our actions are against the will of God. Whatever we do and think are displeasing to God. We deserve God’s punishment because of our sins against the Holy and Just God,.
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
However, God loves us so much that He provides us the way to avoid punishment but have eternal life with Him.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son so that anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Thus, Jesus Christ, the sinless (1 Peter 2:22), eternal Son of God became a man (John 1:1,14) and died to pay our penalty.
"God demonstrates His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
Jesus Christ died on the cross (John 19:31-42), taking the punishment that we deserve (2 Corinthians 5:21). Three days later He rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), proving His victory over sin and death.
"In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" (1 Peter 1:3).
By faith, we must change our mindset regarding Christ - who He is, what He did, and why - for salvation (Acts 3:19). If we place our faith in Him, trusting His death on the cross to pay for our sins, we will be forgiven and receive the promise of eternal life in heaven.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son so that anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Faith alone in the finished work of Christ on the cross is the only true path to eternal life!
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
To receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, say this prayer having full faith in Jesus Christ :
"Lord, I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. Now, I understand that my Saviour Jesus Christ died on the cross and has taken away all my sin. I invite Him to become my Lord and Saviour. I surrender my life in His hand to control and direct my life. Thank You for  forgiving my sin and accepting me as Your child. Help me live a faithful life as your child, in Jesus name, Amen.”

Prophecy About The Birth Of Jesus

In the seventh century BC, the prophet Isaiah made predictions about a Servant of the Lord who would rule the earth in the last days. He described a day in which all of the earth would be at peace and all the nations would go up to Jerusalem to worship God (Isaiah 2).
Isaiah announced, “Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (9:6).
Isaiah also gave a mysterious prophecy that was only partially fulfilled in his lifetime. He wrote, “The Lord Himself will give you a sign:
Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel” (7:14). Immanuel means “God with us.”

The Birth of Jesus Foretold
In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”
“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

CHRISTMAS IS APPROACHING

Let us rejoice in the Lord. Christmas remind us the coming of Jesus in the world for us. His coming makes us ‘the children of God’. Praise the Lord.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. ( please read Luke 1:39-56)

Inside of Mary was the Saviour of the world Jesus Christ, the Son of Heavenly Father and inside of Elizabeth was the prophet of Heavenly Father John the Baptist. When the two mothers meet, the baby John greeted His Lord Jesus Christ, both inside of their respective human mother. The greetings of the two babies made their mother filled with joy and greeted the two mothers with heavenly joy.
Inside of the believers of Jesus Christ lives the Holy Spirit. When the believers meet, the spirit in them rejoice and make the believers rejoice in the Lord.
May your joy in the Lord makes other believers rejoice in the Lord. May Almighty God bless you to be a source of inspiration for others.
May God bless you.

CMSG 1.God Became Man To Make All God’s Children

Life on earth is a mixture of Joy and Sadness, Health and Sickness, Success and Failure, Life and Death. Man experiences a powerful influence of ‘Super-human Power’, which control his life.  Strongest  and the most powerful conquered, subdued ,defeated, enslaved and killed weaker people; rule over people and vast land.
However, no one can overcome death. Even the strongest, conquerors, emperors, can not stand against the tiny micro-organism – infected them with diseases and killed them.
Who is strong enough to overcome sickness and death? No, not one, when the time come.
Health and Wealth brings no permanent peace in the mind of every individual.

God Answer Earnest Prayer

God answer earnest prayer. God will help you succeed in whatever you do if you pray earnestly. Always pray anywhere you go and whatever you do. When you are in a group, meeting or just get together volunteer yourself to pray or request friends to pray together. If you or any one of among you dare not to pray or you have limited time, say The Lord’s Prayer.
